Great service from our waiter Alvin! Other than that the food was outstanding. I had The salt and pepper steak and it was just wonderful. Everyone else enjoyed their meals the appetizer was a lobster and avocado salad... Outstanding!!! Go here!!!!!

This is one of my favorite place in St.Louis. Its a great place to eat. Our waiter (Greg) was excellent, he gave some good recommendations from menu. I've been here few times, but my last visit was the best of all because of Greg. The only negative about this place is noise level, its hard to carry on conversation.

When I worked in St. Charles Prasino was my favorite spot to stop in on a bad day for lunch or for a weekend brunch. I love the tacos here (shrimp is the best!) and found myself getting them a lot. Then I started having some bad times and suddenly tacos couldn't help me through it. Thankfully they had banana bread french toast. I was suddenly alive again after trying it for the first time. Bananas, bananas foster sauce, banana bread, walnuts, and a side of bacon and I just come alive. Sometimes I needed a more savory option so don't worry, the Chicken chilaquiles will blow you away too. Don't think you can just walk in and enjoy this on a Sunday morning though. The place gets busy and they make up wait times so book a spot online and then come in, get your brunch on, and live life the way it was meant to be lived.

Well, this place was a great surprise. My wife and I went here on a weekday during lunch, and boy howdy was it awesome. The staff was bar none and the food was in tow with the staff. Their burgers are definitely gourmet on taste, but not on the pocket book. I could go on, but you really need to try this place yourself to get the depth of what I am saying. It's a sure win in a very new St. Charles development.

Stopped in here for brunch on Saturday with my running group after knocking out 8 miles (go us!). Beautiful ambiance, both inside and out on the patio, a fantastic waiter, and solid food makes this place a must go for brunch if you are in the St. Charles area. Our group ordered most of the menu with some standouts being the chilaquiles, lobster omelet, and the guapo omelet. Servings are large so bring your appetite!

I met up with a colleague of mine when I was in town and Prasino looked like the spot to be. The ambiance of this place is phenomenal. It has that indoor/outdoor feel. The menu had so many items to choose from that sounded delicious. I ended up with this detox drink that had a cucumber vodka and lime and I ordered a shrimp salad with corn and tomato. The salad had a bit too much corn for my liking, however I just picked it apart. Our waiter was really friendly and attentive. This place is packed and I can see how it would be. There were so many different vegan options and they had some amazing drinks to choose from as well. There were plenty of parking and things to do in the area. If I end up moving back to St. Peters/St. Charles in the future I know exactly where I will be living and the area I will be hitting up for dinner and drinks.

Prasino is located in St Charles on the end of a concept development. This small restaurant features a well stocked wine and craft beer selection and is beautifully designed using post-industrial modern and loft elements with high-end furnishings and finishes. The lighting over the expansive fully stocked bar is spectacular, sporting over-sized globes that harken old-fashioned exposed, hanging bulbs. Having just hit St Louis on business my team did a quick search for a great lunch spot on Yelp and boy did it deliver. Prasino well deserves the solid 4 stars awarded, based on our overall experience, the food and the great service. We arrived shortly before the dinner crowd and were seated immediately. We were then pointed to the Happy Hour specials and were happily tempted to order one of the great $4 draft selections, for food we mostly selected items off the regular menu. Wanting to sample the local craft, I had a very nice 4 Hands Resurrection IPA. It had great body, hoppy snap and great hints of citrus. Turkey Burger with Seasonal Veggies - we subbed ground turkey for the special Prasino Burger - smoked gouda, tomato jam, pickled onion, arugula and whole wheat. This came with a great side of roasted veggies made up of brussel sprouts and squash. Turkey Burger with Truffled Potatoes - The other Prasino Burger came with truffled potatoes - the sauce was delicious. Portabello Burger with Sea Salt Chips - little did my vegetarian partner know how close this portabello burger came to tasking like meat. I could eat this all day. Between the bartender and the waiter, service was well above average and as a bonus, while clearing the table the waiter knocked over my water glass so my meal was comped. Prasino has class and knows how to treat its customers. -- John (also posted in much longer form on my food blog)

My wonderful son that lives in Denver had heard a of good things about Prasino. My boyfriend and i went back in April, on a Saturday night. We had reservations and still waited close to an hr after our reservation time. We wound up leaving. The manager was very apologetic and told us to ask for him the next time we came. Last night we went and had a WONDERFUL evening. Our food was great! Our waiter, Jimmy, was a top notch waiter. Very accommodating and sincere. But one thing that really impressed us was the owner, Brian. He seated us immediately himself. Suggested a wonderful tomato salad. He also did what he said he would do. Served us a Very nice Bottle of wine, on the house! You should see the size of their appetizers. We thought they were entrees. Thanks, Brian and Jimmy for a wonderful evening. Don N. and Sharon k

On the rare occasion we go all the way out to St. Charles, I can recommend this as a very good, casual dining experience with a full bar, nice wine list and upscale food. Our meal was very good, fresh and served fast. Restaurant is located in a newly developed area in northern St. Charles near the Ameristar Casino. Lots of other restaurants and bars nearby. Should you have cause to be way out in St. Charles, this is a good choice for a casual meal at reasonable prices or for a drink at the bar to watch a Cards game. Service was very good, nearby parking garage is new and nice. Wine list had a few gems that might normally be $150 to $200 a bottle that were only $100. Good draft beer selection too.

I'll start off by saying our review isn't going to be streamline with the other four star, wonderful food reviews on this place. We made reservations through Open Table for 7:45p as we were going to head to Ameristar afterwards to hear a band and we saw it was a highly recommended restaurant. Upon arrival at 7:40p, I couldn't be seated because my husband wasn't with me, he dropped me off and it took him 15 mins to find a place to park and walk down to the restaurant-horrendous parking situation-the developer didn't think too clearly on that busy area they created. Even once hubs joined me in the lobby, we still had to wait 10 mins to be seated. So long 7:45 reservations, it was now 8:15 before we were sat. We should have listened to our gut instinct and left because it was SO LOUD in the lobby while we were waiting, we should've known it was going to be louder in the dining area. I'll warn you to bring your megaphone with you if you place to eat at this place. Even sitting RIGHT NEXT to my husband at a table, we still had to repeat ourselves. By the time we left we barely had voices to talk!!! The atmosphere itself is neat... Rustic and industrial... Bad acoustics. We were sat at a four top table by two large parties, both of which also couldn't hear one another, causing more shouting, making it louder. Our poor waitress, Chelsea, had to yell to talk to us. Once she gave us the menu, we realized it was one of the all natural, hormone free, free range places. While I appreciate being aware of what we put in our bodies and having a high priced meal every once in awhile, our appetites weren't up for this type of menu -or prices-. Holy cow... I asked hubs if he wanted to leave after we were sat and he said no, let's try it out. He ordered their drink special for the night, Rose Passion Tea (I think), some goofy cocktail that I thought tasted horrendous. There wasn't anything on the beer menu or their specialty cocktails that really appealed to me, but I chose the Sweet Knockers Apple Cider-it was ok. Angry Orchard is better-both drinks were $9.00 each. We also had the wine bottle of water on the table to fill our own glasses. This idea is way overused now, by the way. We ordered our meals: chicken sandwich thing for my husband with potatoes (we couldn't tell you what it really was) and I had shaved lamb sandwich with truffle goat cheese potatoes. He didn't like his food at all. My sandwich was good-it was lamb, pico de gallo, Swiss and guacamole on ciabatta. The truffle potatoes were good, at first. After a few bites the goat cheese was just overwhelming. Neither one of us finished our food or our drinks and with a tip we blew $61.00 unexpectedly. We still tipped Chelsea well because she was running her ass off with other large parties and keeping up with us just fine. The 2nd star was for Chelsea, nothing more. I'm sad to say we wouldn't return, even if it were free. Maybe it was because we weren't expecting the free range, high prices or if we were just turned off from the start with waiting for our seats past reservation time and how LOUD it is inside. Sadly, we were so turned off we didn't even go to Ameristar afterwards...we left unsatisfied and searching for more food when we got home.

Tonight was our first visit to Prasino and it did not disappoint. Our waiter Jay gave top quality service and exceeded our expectations. He was friendly and attentive and took care of all of our needs. The food was also outstanding. We enjoyed flatbread, sushi, the Prasino salad, the beet salad and the Lobster Avocado. The wine list is well rounded and Jay was able to make great suggestions.

Perfect place to hangout with great beer selection and really good food. Try their Tacos. They are filling and nice. Not your regular tacos. The lobster avocado appetizer is phenomenal. The lobster could be more juicier but hey lobster is lobster. The desserts - OMG nice. Try their Buttery praline ice cream. You will like it. Nuff said - go there now!

Fish tacos are great. Add the salsa for some kick and flavor. My lil woman loved the chorizo tacos. Had the Lava roll. It's good, but also non descript. Ate dinner in the front room bar area which is LOUD. Overall good time. Terrific wait staff.

Outstanding discovery! Excellent for gluten free options. Including GF sushi. Get the lava roll! Short rib tacos are superb. This place has good al fresco outdoor dining. Great for cocktails and small plates or full on dinner with multiple courses. Love the atmosphere. Hip, trendy and modern. Definitely will be back next time I am in St Louis area.

Love this little gem in St Charles entertainment district! I've been here 2x and Its been great both times. The most recent time was for happy hour...which starts at 3 and goes until 7...YEA!! I got the Kefte ($6 happy hour), which was a huge lamb and beef meatball smothered in a spicy tomato sauce served with feta, pita bread, and a baby spinach salad. DELICIOUS! The meatball was so tasty and flavorful paired with the feta and pita. I love meatballs anyway so I'm not biased or anything I also ordered the chicken wings ($6 happy hour), suggested by the bartender. They were grilled with dry rub instead of fried. The dry rub was pretty tasty, although I'm not a fan of chicken wings - yea I know. I hate the messy part of eating chicken wings and these are messy for sure. I needed two napkins to eat one drummie. Since they were good, I decided to knife and fork the rest of the wings - got a few stares, but I handled it like the champ that I am! All of this plus 2 vodka sodas ($5x 2) = a great happy hour for less than $25 (not including tip of course). I'd definitely recommend coming here if you're in the area. Minus one star for NOT having unlimited mimosas for brunch. That is a request for me because I am a day drinker - THE day drinker! Let's get that going asap Prasino!

What a wonderful place. My husband & I chose this as our dinner destination prior to a concert at the Family Arena and what a lovely surprise. I had the fire roasted 1/2 chicken & was very please. My husband ordered the Filet and it was amazing. Although my choice was very tasty, my husbands will definitely be my first choice next time! Design is very nice and modern, yet warm feeling and the noise level isn't too bad...

The food here is always awesome. The environment is very relaxed and the patio is great to sit out on when the weather is nice. The menu is very unique which makes for an interesting night! A little pricey, but worth it.

I met some friends for brunch over the weekend here and we had a great time. The restaurant is spacious so there's plenty of room and we had 3 children in tow and they accommodated us easily, which isn't usually the case for anyone. I had an egg sandwich that was massive and tasty. It came with a potato hash which was very flavorful! We ordered some extra fruit and my son had pancakes. My husband had some sort of sweet french toast or crepes and he was pleased. They didn't have a huge menu, but definitely enough to appease anyone coming in for breakfast/brunch. The only complaint I had was that the air was off for some reason when we got there and it took about 30 minutes for the restaurant to cool off once it was turned back on. Our server was friendly and prompt and he dealt with our large group very well! If I find myself in St. Charles again, I'll definitely be back.

Wonderful resturant with a ever changing menu because they use local sourced ingredients. Very tasty dishes at reasonable prices. The place can be a little noisy because it is quite popular.

I've been here quite a few times and have to say I really enjoy it! The beet salad is probably my favorite thing on the menu. Or the chicken caprese sandwich. You'll want to make a reservation for a busier night but I've always found a place to squeeze into at the bar too.

Prasino is a very trendy restaurant and I really enjoyed eating there. My friends and I hit this place up for brunch on a Saturday and we had a good time. Around that time they had both the brunch and lunch menus available so even though the menus were small, there was still a lot of variety. I chose to order from the lunch menu and got Short Rib Tacos for $13.00. The tacos were really good, it tasted very authentic especially since they used corn tortillas and salsa that had just enough heat to spice up the flavors. Both of my friends ordered from the brunch menu, Short Rib Skillet for $13.00 and Paris Eggs Benedict for $12.00. They both said that they liked their dishes and aesthetically speaking, I can agree because everything looked super appetizing. The prices may seem a little steep but the portions were decent and the restaurant just had a very nice ambiance. I loved even the amber glass bottles and cups that they used for water, very classy. My only issue is probably the slowness of service. It's a very big restaurant but it wasn't that packed so I don't know why it took about 25 minutes for food to come out. Our server checked on us a couple of times but his service wasn't outstanding which doesn't seem up to par with the upscale vibe of the restaurant. Other than that I will definitely go back when I am looking to dine somewhere in St. Charles.

We shared the chicken Taco, but told them to hold the chicken and add fish. They were sensational!!! We also shared 2 small salads, which were nice sizes. Presino and roasted beet salads. Both were good, but I asked for extra dressing as they were very lightly dressed. My wife must follow gluten free and there these were as many other items. The service was also really good. We shared the chocolate molten cake and ice cream. It was amazing! Other than many items being a tiny bit pricy, the flavored were there.

The atmosphere was awesome and the waiters did a amazing job! We had a group of 40, and they maneuvered amazingly! We had a limited menu and it was delicious. I got the Prasino Salad, Short Ribs, and chocolate Milton cake - it was all delicious! The ribs were so tender you didn't need a knife! Everyone was very happy - and stuffed walking out!

As a traveling rep I am in a different city every week looking for the local food hot spot. I was working a trade show in the area and didn't want Cracker Barrel or Outback, everythign seems to taste the same there. I Yelped it. the reviews were spot on!! Great atmosphere with good energy. I was with a colleague and we sat in the bar to watch the game. The waiter was very helpful in making a decision and really sold us on what he thought were the better choices of what we were on the fence about. Not many restaurants can offer pizza, sushi, and barbeque on the same menu that isnt a Golden Corral and nail it. Everything was awesome!! I we started with the chicken skewers...awesome, then we split sushi....awesome, then I had the Trout...awesome, and my colleague had the barbeque pork chop...he said " this may be the best barbeque I've ever had." Bold statement coming from a southern man. I would definately recommend anyone, foodie or not to check this joint out. I'm pissed I live in NY and cant come here more often. Bravo

Shady Server Business...Tisk TISK My family, a group of 10, took me here for my birthday in December 21. Why wait to write a review now? My mom just now told me something in casual conversation that if said in December, would have put a damper on the birthday mood. My boyfriend and I ordered a couple of cocktails (2 for me, one for him) while everyone else drank wine. The drink menu has prices listed out, and I do not recall the server 'up-selling' any liquor substitute for one already listed on the drink menu. HOWEVER, when my father was given the bill, it listed $60 for Solerno, a blood orange liquor. (The cocktails were listed as $9). Not surprisingly, the bill had a nice fold over this part of the bill trying to hide it. How shady!! My family was too gracious to say anything to me before now so I would not feel bad. I have been a server for a long time and have served fine cocktails for over a year; I would never pull this b.s.. While I know not all servers at Prasino might not emulate this poor behavior, I am a bit disgusted and will not return. The server already had a full bill worth 10 peoples' entrees, salads, and booze. So greedy. If remembered his name, I would have made a call to express my disappointment. For now, I just want others to beware so a fast one is not pulled on them. I will say, I am not all about smearing a restaurant just because of one idiot. The food was quite nice. Pricey, but nice.

I hate to say it but I like that place just a little. The interior design is quite nice, but not amazing. Obviously prasino lands at a high price tier, hence comes more "experience" quality over quantity bullshit. I'll admit the food was well crafted, delicious, and nicely presented, but again not amazing. Sangrias are great! Drinks were very good too, but they better be for $8-12 pricing per fucking pop. Even though that place is expensive, I normally would recommend it at this point but... There is a catch... Crappy service for the PRICE ! I am sorry but if I'm going there to drop easily $100+ between me and a chick, I expect good service!!! Period ! Here is my recommendation. If ure planing on going on a memorable evening with someone special and dropping an impressive amount of dough. Go to Soulard! There you will find plenty of hidden gems that are way better than prasino for the same price range. Peace!

The food was good, cool atmosphere. Have a nice half in half out eating area. Very modern nice tvs all over. What was lacking was the service. Slow at best! Waiting 15 mins for someone to come over, then 20 for water. Etc. etc. For that reason not sure if we will be back or not.

I was in town with a coworker staying down the street and we stumbled into this place based on the yelp review. This is exactly what a health conscious road warrior wants in a restaurant. They had a great wine selection with reasonable carafes and the food was amazing. The dragon roll was fillings and didn't need any soy sauce. The chicken sandwich was very fresh and not overwhelmingly filling. The fires had a strong truffle sauce that may have been the best item there. New American, fresh ingredients and great atmosphere. Nailed it!

This place is gorgeous. We first came here for a birthday a few years ago and my whole family has been a fan since. From the cocktails to the atmosphere to the delicious food- it's a winner. I love love love the sushi, especially the dragon roll! Today I went with some friends and had the truffle potatoes and short rib tacos- both are to die for!

I went to Prasino for a late lunch a week ago. My dining companion had been raving about it for months and I was concerned that I was working it up too much in my mind as an amazing dining experience that I hadn't yet had. You know, like when you hear a show or a movie is GREAT and you finally get to it and you're underwhelmed? Well, I went to Prasino and was whelmed. First good impression: It's pretty inside. Very open. First could-be-better impression: The lunch menu isn't huge. There are vegetarian options, but no black bean burgers. The food: I went with seitan tacos. Four little ones for $10. Very filling and pretty good. I took 2 of them home. The service : Fine. Bottom line: Promising. Jury is still out. I think I'll come back for a salad, happy hour, or dessert.

Stopped in during a business trip and happy hour was just wrapping up. Clean, nice high top or bar seating, big TVs and wine selection. Had a happy hour burger and glass of wine for $10 can't beat that. Only wished server told me burger was a la carte, could have used a side with it. I'll be back if I'm in the area again.

We went here for the first time for breakfast and we were extremely impressed. We went on Christmas Eve and the food could not have been better. Service was great and the food was exquisite. I highly recommend the eggs benedict with crab cakes and the crepes. We live in Saint Charles and will be back. You get lots of food for your buck.

Food was good. Service was not. Decor is significant and updated. Here's the real problem....no diet soda is served in the dining room. What the what?! I know it's supposed to fit their "concept"....I get it. However, why can I put the artificial sweetener provided on the table in my ice tea but I can't order a diet coke, which, btw, they serve in the bar area. What the what?! Pass'ino.

One of my friends had suggested going to Prasino for dinner. When we had gotten there, I was geniunely impressed by the upscale, modern interior and atmosphere. From then on, I've been to this restaurant 6 times introducing it to my set of friends and family. I love that they offer vegan/vegetarian dishes that not only look good but are damn delicious! The service is always friendly, and the servers are mindful and respectful to special requests (ie - gluten-free). Lastly, the drinks and desserts - YUM!

I took my girlfriend here on Valentine's Day night after deciding against Element (largely due to the inclusion of Bull's blood in Element's V-Day menu). Because of the impromptu decision to eat here on such a hard-to-book night, we went for a late dinner. In all honesty, it was chosen as a last resort, but that perception really changed after we arrived. The atmosphere is always the first thing that is noticed and what was striking was how dimly lit it was. It isn't that the restaurant is pitch-black or so dark that one could not navigate, but it gave off this feeling that, though surrounded by dozens of people, it is just you and your date. I like that. I know that this is just the first time I have been here, but it gave a very romantic feel. It does seem a little loud for general conversation, but that gives every justification to get close to your best gal. As for the service, the waiter was incredibly friendly. I cannot remember his name, but he was engaging and added to the whole experience positively. As a good waiter does, he was able to convince me to go for a drink (alcoholic), which is rare for me because I don't drink at all - this is important for later in the night. Foodwise, everything was stellar. We started with the hummus and the vegetables. The hummus was well-prepared, smooth and spicy. I find myself puzzled as to why it is important to mention this, but I can recall a couple of times where I have had sub-par hummus elsewhere. Is it really that hard? Anywho, after the hummus, we ordered our meals. April got the salmon on greens and made sure that the preparation was dairy/gluten-free. I ordered the short ribs which were accompanied by a cauliflower gratin and in a truffle-infused sauce made from a wine of some sort (can't remember). Her salmon and greens were moist and buttery without actually having the butter; this is a well-cooked fish. My short ribs were tender and fell apart from the braise and the gratin was unique - both were incredible. So back to the drink. I had some apple drink which was atypical, both because I don't usually drink mixed drinks when I do consume alcohol and, more importantly, if I have a few drinks a year, it is a big year. Studies and whatnot require sobriety, so it is easy to understand why I would have a lower than normal tolerance. The drink was delicious and I savored it over the course of the meal, while April sipped on her Sangria (she wasn't a big fan). Nevertheless, I could feel myself slightly askew. The time came to pay and it was expected to be fairly costly. With alcohol in a system that almost always works without it, I began to think about the tip when I was distracted and, upon coming back, started working on the tip based on the original amount (tip and all) that I was going to originally give. Ha. He deserved it for his performance and the two of us got a big kick out of my lapse of judgement that now serves as an awesome anecdote. Prasino is an easy recommendation and to have an extremely nice restaurant within five minutes of my residence is just awesome.

I think they're going through some growing pains, so the service started out a little rough. But quickly the manager stepped in and took care of things! The service after that was superb and the food was good.

Very seldom do you find a restaurant that can provide a perfect meal while catering to a crowd that large. Prasino ' s went above and beyond what we could ever expect from their service to their food.

This place is legit. Delicious food with a good selection of craft beer makes me happy. I had the pork tenderloin and the boyfriend had the half chicken. Both were great. Highly recommend it. Great decor and environment. Good service. St Charles needed a place like this. Will be going back often.

Found prasino in yelp reviews and decided to give it a try! The hostess was friendly and server was equally friendly and promptly took our drink and food order. We ordered the hummus with crudités, to start off with and it was mediocre. For entree I ordered their lobster roll and salad, husband ordered short ribs. The roll was a little different than I expected, the lobster was chopped up into little pieces mixed with celery, almost like a salad but with a very vinegary dressing. I was told I could pick a side so I chose their prasino salad which was a lemony dressing, pair that with a vinegary sandwich = very tart meal. Husband's short rib was okay , more like braised meat then short ribs. What bothered me most about this experience was our server, Not so much the food. She was sweet and attentive in the beginning then just completely dropped off towards the end of our meal. She was no where in sight what seemed like eternity. It was later in the evening, literally 3 tables left in the dining area and no server. Perhaps busy doing side work to try to leave early that evening which is fine but give us our check and we'll be off our merry way! P.s, sides do not come with the meal as she explained earlier, they charge for sides.

We went for brunch yesterday with four others. I ordered a Bellini and my husband ordered a Bloody Mary. The table of two next to us received drinks that looked like what we ordered. A few minutes later, a server brought them a mimosa and another Bloody Mary. The server picked up the drinks that had already been sipped on and returned to the bar. Not even a minute later, a server (not ours) dropped off the Bellini and Bloody Mary. Both drinks were about three quarter of the way full, and the Bloody Mary had juice at the top of the straw and around the tip. Our server (I believe her name was Megan) appeared and we told her we thought the drinks were the ones our neighbors retuned and had already tasted (we showed her the evidence on the straw). She seemed genuinely appalled and quickly returned with new drinks. She said the bartender reported that she did not serve us our neighbors' returned drinks, but I find it hard to believe a new drink would have residue on the straw and looked like it has already been sipped on, but I digress. The manager graciously comped our drinks (without having to be asked).

Great place! Fun new area, the staff is all very friendly and knowledgable. All the food was fresh, a true farm to table in St Charles. Tried the lobster avocado, with mango salsa and chilli beurre blanc small plate, and pork belly and scallops tacos with the red wine reduction, both excellent. A must try! Very pricey but you get what you pay for.

Prasinos provides a much needed higher class eating option in St Charles county. The mixed drinks are one of the big draws for me. With an appetizer and a few drinks, the cost is going to be around $100 for two. They have a nice outdoor seating area though the nearby highway is a bit of a negative.

Located this gem while trying to find a place near STL with a good food and wine selection since we were taking my boss' boss to lunch before his departure flight. The menu has great variety and the wine selection sufficient for even the most particular of vino drinkers. I had the mushroom flat bread pizza, others had the fish tacos and the "labsta" roll with pineapple coleslaw. We were all very impressed. The service was top-notch giving recommendations that were spot-on for both food and wine. Bottom-line...it's a winner!

Highly recommend this place to host a celebration or business lunch. They have a chic atmosphere, tasty and creative menu, and 2 private dining rooms with reasonable minimums. The catering manager, Mary, was very helpful in helping me select a great menu for a bridal shower. The tables were set perfectly, the server was courteous, and the delicious foods came out promptly. All the guests had a great time.

Went here with a group of about 15 and dropped some real moneys. A few expensive bottles of wine etc. had high hopes since they presented the menu options with such upscale description they got your hopes up. Obviously the help must not eat the food. Most of the various steak dishes were over cooked and the meat was tough. Could buy far better product at Costco. Also have no soft drinks like coke or Pepsi. Only some hipster duffs all natural trendy sodas. This place is all show and no go. You are much better off going around the corner to Five Guys. Food was consistently weak but the blood orange cheesecake in the pretensptiously cool ball jar was worth eating since I was still hungry from not finishing my lousy dinner. Sorry guys.

Top notch service, even when they were about to close!! The pork and scallop tacos really hit the spot. Great beer selection as well as an ok bourbon stock.... Plus the bartenders know how to serve a decent pour. Check this place out, you won't be disappointed.

Terrible service! Probably due to lack of training and sub-par servers (we interacted with three when we were there). Here is a summary for our experience: 1. Called for reservations- asked if it was a special occasion, which it was, however not sure if it mattered, because our anniversary celebration was never recognized by anyone there, so what was the point of asking? Was something special supposed to happen? 2. Took 10 minutes before server approached and it was not even our server. Asked what seasonal beers were that were noted on menu and they did not even know. We knew more about the seasonal draft beers than the server... 3. When our server did arrive, felt like I was at a fast food joint. Greeted with "Are you ready to order?". How about... welcome.. any questions? Specials are.. Sorry about the wait. Nope. 4. My salad came out first with no utensils. Best part was the other server that came out to give the salad noticed I did not have silverware, but did nothing about it. 5 minutes later saw our server and then got silverware. 5. Overall our server had no personality, adding NOTHING to our experience. We even tipped less than our traditional 20%, because it was so bad. Here is the good news.. the food was great and being a member of the organic and clean eating lifestyle glad to see a restaurant that caters to just that! Hope the managers read this and beef up on the lackluster service because the food and atmosphere is spot on!

came in starving during a road trip and fortunately came in during happy hour. I ordered a grapefruit mint soda, very tasty non alcohol drink and ordered the short rib nachos. they were the best nachos I've ever had. bar none. end of story. server was very friendly and attentive especially given it was either the end or beginning of his shift. even gave me a few end pieces of one of their desserts. cool hip atmosphere. the rest of the menu looked very creative and if anything comes close to those nacho you're in for a treat.

Along with the great dining experience, the serving staff is not only knowledgeable, but very personable. "Brandon" stands out as a professional that makes the whole dining experience enjoyable. Thanks, Brandon.

Enjoyed the Prasino burger here today- VERY good! Smoked Gudda cheese and a tomato jam sauce that was amazing. Service was a bit slow, BUT, our waitress kindly got me another double espesso on her while we waited. Overall- excellent food that was well worth the wait, and very reasonably priced!

I'm usually more of a taker than a giver when it comes to Yelp -- hence this is my first review. But apparently this restaurant just opened this week. And it was really yummy. So I almost feel duty-bound to give an opinion about it. I just flew into St. Louis for business a few hours ago. After getting settled into my hotel, I searched Yelp for "local organic restaurants" because that's what people from the Bay Area do when they have to leave the Bay Area. Prasino was near-ish and the food looked good on their website, so I went to check it out. I was not disappointed. Unfortunately (for someone looking for a more varied review), I ordered almost the same thing as the previous review (chorizo tacos and the pork steak). Fortunately (for me) they were both excellent. The four tacos were well-stuffed, tasted just right even though they were vegan, and could have been a meal all by themselves if I had been less hungry. But the St. Louis pork steak was where they really shined. It was so tender, it practically fell apart as soon as I threatened it with a knife. The pork also came with a fun take on a waldorf salad with french-cut apples, or at least I think that's what it was. I wasn't terribly into the ambiance. It was dark with dance music playing almost (but not quite) too loud to have a conversation. But that's just my cranky-old-man side coming out. It certainly didn't undermine the quality of the food.

Stopped in for a lazy sunday brunch and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Our server, Kenneth took great care of us and helped us out with the menu. Our beverages were never low. The service was great all around. For brunch I had their crab cakes eggs benedict and my girlfriend had their guapo omelet. Both plates had excellent presentation and were nice size portions. The hollandaise that came on the eggs benedict was well made. The guapo omelet had a good spice kick to it for an omelet and to the unsuspecting diner, may be a little too spicy. Since we like spice, it worked well. Her omelet also came with a side of toast that came with butter and rhubard jam. The buter and jam were good. Definitely making a return for their dinner soon.

I have visited Prasino-St. Charles numerous times and have never been disappointed! Their staff is friendly and helpful, the space is beautiful, they have an amazing patio, and their food is absolutely delicious. My two favorite lunch dishes so far are the Pork Belly BLT and the Short Rib Tacos (sooooo good). They also have a great happy hour from 3-7pm during the week-- $3 drafts, $4 wine, and $6 select apps. If you haven't already, you should definitely check out Prasino!

Prasino has all the bases covered as a new addition to what was previously a lackluster dining scene in St Charles County. From superb crafted cocktails to the balanced flavors of the lobster avocado to the amazing Polar Bear sushi roll and a wonderful wood grilled halibut this is definitely now my favorite go-to restaurant. Service from Ken was perhaps the best and most memorable service I've received in a long time. Prices are a bit high, but they certainly deliver on a wonderful dining experience.

This place is right up there w graham elliot in Chicago.Portions are good sized. I loved the fresh beet salad with creamy goat chees and oranges. The truffled potatoes were superb. The short ripbs were melt of the bone. The lamb was cook ed thorough and accompanied by a great cous cous side. The highlight was the molten chocolate cake. Perfect as it can be.

Went to Prasino last weekend and will definitely return! Love the decor and ambiance. Upscale dining with reasonable prices and the food was outstanding. Our party of four shared appetizers of tuna tartare, p.e.i. mussels, calamari and lobster avocado. We thought every dish was excellent. I had the St. Louis pork steak. It was very tender and flavorful and the jalapeño biscuit and apple slaw were delicious sides. I also tried my husband's skirt steak...equally tender and tasty. Desserts were yummy. Service was great...friendly and conscientious. Can't wait to go back!

Have wanted to try Prasino for a while, don't really venture to St. Charles that often. Heard great things but wasn't sure what to expect. Wow! What a great space, decor and friendly staff. From the bar, very attentive, to the hostess, who say us right away, to our very knowledgable waitress. Friends sitting in the bar raved about the happy hour menu, we chose the dining room instead. Very large space but able to have a conversation without yelling or hearing the table next to you. They also have a great private room for parties. We decided against appetizers and ordered the swordfish and the rib tips as entrees. Both were beautifully plated and taste was great. The swordfish was cooked perfectly and served with soba noodles. The rib tips were boneless and could have melted in your mouth, they were served with the cauliflower gratin...which left you wanting more. Didn't order desert but the menu looked very yummy. Extensive wine and beer list as well. Great place to go with a group, family or a date!

Fantastic. Very large with nice open concept. The sushi was really good and the drink list was extensive. I was here on a Friday night and the entire place was packed. Really a nice addition to the St. Charles scene, I would go here again without hesitation.

First time there last night. We sat in the bar area and had great service by Mallory! She new the menu very well and offered great recommendations and conversation. The owners were also walking around greeting patrons. If you care about what you eat and want great food - this is the place for the St Charles area! We started with the chick pea cakes, followed by the veg soup of the day. For the entree, my husband had the short ribs and I had the pesto salmon. Left very satisfied. Our new favorite place!

Went there for my parents anniversary. I can see their concept, and the idea has promise. My personal experience was not impressive. I really wanted to like this place! They don't serve diet soda, which is the only soda I drink, apparently because it doesn't fit their model of serving healthy things. No bread at the table either. Got it. The only thing that had promise for actually looking healthy on the menu was the halibut-the most expensive entree. Unfortunately it had zero flavor. It was so void of flavor that I had to object, especially being so pricey. The waiter did offer me something different, which of course was not nearly as healthy, but at that point I didn't care because I was just so hungry. They get two stars instead of one because they really tried to make amends and took a hefty amount of the bill for the inconvenience. I think everyone else at our table had a better experience with the entree and will probably return. Not for me, though.

Finally a fresh restaurant in St Charles!! I took my family here for breakfast this morning (I am vegan, husband are son are vegetarian) and as soon as we took our first bite we were blown away! We are so relieved to have a sustainable place to eat with tons of options close to home and no longer have to drive downtown to find veg friendly food. I know that even our omnivore friends and family will love this place. Also love the fact that local wines are featured.

I have been an enthusiastic supporter of this restaurant since April 2013, having been at least 20 times and have tried breakfast, lunch and dinner. I have recommended it to so many people and taken so many different people with me. The food is always amazing! I avoid certain foods for food allergy reasons and love that I can easily eat here. The service is inconsistent. Sometimes it is just fabulous and other times horrible from the perspective of being slow and feeling forgotten. I am sad to say that this restaurant that I love has now become perhaps too busy and popular. I don't even try to go without a reservation now. Unfortunately now, even with a reservation it is problematic. Last night (Friday), I had an 8:15 reservation for 2, and we arrived about 8:07. The restaurant and bar were crazy crowded (people everywhere). They said they were running behind on reservations because they 'are totally overbooked'. We did not get seated until close to 8:40, about 25 minutes past our reservation time. Then, it took about an hour and a half to get through dinner (salad, entree, dessert), and we were not trying to linger. The service was slow and spread out. It felt like we were there for such a long time! And it was so very loud in there with a band playing in the bar and music in the restaurant and hearing both at the same time while eating was making me a little insane.

A couple of my British friends were celebrating a wife's birthday there and a fire alarm was sounding, naturally when I heard this, as a firefighter/paramedic I got ahold of the staff asked if there was a fire in their kitchen, they took me to the kitchen and after there was no fire discovered they told me it was a building alarm and then I had them direct me to whomever the acting manager was at the time which they did and I identified myself as a paramedic and volunteer firefighter and asked do you want me to help you evacuate people out of the restaurant, the person they directed me to said yes. At which point I proceeded to get everyone out of the building, one individual in particular had a issue with leaving the building and I asked if he didn't leave did he want me to help him leave which he said "yeah firefighter carry me out", it essentially was a person whom I think was just trying to elicit a physical response and make things difficult, the rest of the patrons I told that they didn't have to leave to go home but to wait outside the building until St. Charles Fire cleared the building then return and settle their tab. The general manager whom I met after the building was cleared was upset I didn't find him first before clearing his restaurant, I informed him that his staff directed me to someone else who confirmed that he wanted help with clearing the patrons, which several people thanked me for getting them out in a timely and calm manner once the alarm was going off. The general manager told me I costed him thousands of dollars, I said no the fire alarm in the building costed him that, I have nothing to do with that whatsoever. Previous to this the first time I was there a customer had a diabetic episode and passed out and I helped out there as well and ironically enough this same GM thanked me for assisting, now this time I'm responsible for all financial liability? I'm sorry but Good Samaritan Law and my duty to act is for the safety of life first and property last. Way to levy your business over the customers who keep the place afloat. Even after I showed my badge and credentials he had the nerve to say "Anyone can buy a badge and impersonate a fireman". I've never been so disrespected in my life for trying to do my duty that I've been trained to.

I have to say that my first impression was much better than the second. Maybe I had been heavily influenced by the atmosphere and rave reviews the first time. After our first visit, which I thoroughly enjoyed, I found myself looking for an excuse to return. The Happy Hour specials and unusually nice weather today were reason enough. Unfortunately, the shiny newness must have worn off and I left today thinking that I probably won't be going out of my way to return. What changed? The food. Tonight it was just okay. Sort of Fridays/Houlihans okay. The short rib nachos, which others have raved about, were served with a good portion of flavorful meat, but other than that had some bland cheese and a piece of pepper. Once we started eating them we could see that the bottom layer of chips was swimming in a pool of greasy juices from the meat. The chicken wings were truly inedible, tasteless, greasy, and undercooked. I will give credit to the server for taking them back without hesitation. The peppers and dipping sauce were okay, but I expected more heat from the peppers and less sweetness in the sauce. Not a dish I would order again. Overall, I'd recommend the cocktails and the burger. It still ranks as one of the best burgers I have ever had. The happy hour prices are very good, which may explain the fact that the bar was packed while the restaurant was 2/3 empty on a Friday evening.

Far drive but so worth the trip!!! Probably the only restaurant worth driving out to in St. Charles. Amazing service starting from the front, greeted with the most kindest staff. For how new this place is, our waiter had knowledge of everything on the menu. Every dish that was served to us, went back clean from us almost wanting to lick it clean. lol. We had a little bit of everything from the menu. The sushi came out beautiful, tasted amazing, and I hear, their sushi chef is TRUE Japanese and is the Morimoto of St.Louis. I could totally believe it. The sushi looked like amazing art on the plate. We also had the salmon dish, amazing. Seriously, I dream about their salmon and how PERFECT it was seasoned & cooked. The hummus was delicious, the tuna tar tar had great flavor, & the lamb shank, O-M-G... deeeefreakinlicious!!! The drinks were so good, If I had a DD i would have drank a few more but you know, can't drive around tipsy, especially living 35 minutes away. My friend had the "winter thyme" coctail, it has blackberry jam in it. Yes it was yum but mine was better. I had a "green" cocktail. Ok, I had two, because it was so good. It was vodka with strawberry & fresh basil with a oogave mandarin key-lime soda, i mean come on, how can you have just one? I would recommend this restaurant to everyone i know. Can't stop talking about it actually. I will definitely be back!!!

Really looking forward to dinner however came away disappointed. First our server seemed rushed and didn't offer any specials until asked. Then there were plates on the table but no bread service so wasn't quite sure why they were there. My husband enjoyed his steak but my turkey burger was overwhelmed by the blue cheese and you couldn't taste the apples at all. Only ate about a third. Told my server I needed some kind of sauce to add flavor which he provided. Kind of disappointed that he didn't ask the manager to stop by our table since I clearly was not enjoying my meal. Probably won't go back as there are several better options that offer a greater value.

Great food, great atmosphere, great staff! So nice to meet the owners as they mingled throughout the room, taking time to help their staff and chat with customers. Nice to dine in St. Charles, where a group can select from a diverse menu of vegan, vegetarian, or entrees for meat lovers. Love the organic and local aspect! Next, we'll do breakfast!

Came in on a Friday night... A little bit of a wait, but it was well worth it. The best sushi I have ever had in my life. Our waiter, Peyton "not Manning" was one of the most charming and entertaining of servers that I have ever had! Big smile and even bigger personality. He was knowledgeable and truly passionate about the food that he serves. The next time I come back (and I most definitely will be back!) I am asking for him to be my server again!

First impression , nice booths, nice water decanter, delicious pancakes&syrup! Some if the best I had Cons, 40 minute wait on biscuits & short rib skillet, it was not busy at all. No fountain soda, only small bottles 3.50$ Oj 3.00$. After the 4o minutes, wrong skillet was brought out to my husband, it was pulled pork skillet w sweet potatoes & pears, His was supposed to be short rib & peppers/onions/cheddar. Waiter took it to back & out came the correct order , had been sitting a bit & not hot, needed some sort of sauce too, it was alittle dry, My biscuits w chorizo was good but those were some hard biscuits. I liked the mixture of flavers though, w a touch of cilantro . I have 9$ left on a gift card, I won't be back for awhile but when I do , I'll stick w pancakes since that was the only thing that stood out.

Gorgeous, elegant, and modern restaurant! And the food is not bad either! I'm very impressed! Voted one of the best new restaurants in the St. Louis area, this places earns the title effortlessly. Serving all three meals, it is open from early morning hours to late into the evening. My hubby and I tried the breakfast here and when we walked in, we were amazed at the size of the place. Two huge rooms - one for the bar and lounge area and the other for the main dining - make up this restaurant. Completely brand new and stylish, the decor is something you see expect to see in major cities like New York or San Francisco. We tried the crab cake Benedict and the Paris Benedict. I liked both very much, but I would give the slight edge to the Paris Benedict with that pretzel baguette. Delicious. The portion looks deceivingly small when it comes out, but I was full after eating about 80% of it. I have to come back to try lunch and dinner. Prices are higher than other places, but I expect that from a place this trendy. If I were getting married again, I would totally rent out the private room for my rehearsal dinner. It's a huge room in the middle of the main dining room surrounded by glass. There is a big TV and wine bottles adorning the walls. Even though you might feel like a fish in a bowl, your group will still get privacy to celebrate. Service was great. No complaints. I just could not stop staring at my surroundings. It was just so nice. Perfect place to bring a date! I was pleasantly surprised that this restaurant offers the whole package and then some!

Wow. Just wow. The service was very good. The atmosphere is nice but a bit loud. Our server was fantastic. I had the filet and my wife had the bricked chicken. Both were 5 star dishes but the filet was a clear winner. Cooked just as ordered and served over a potato hash that had a sauce that complimented the meat and potatoes perfectly.

Ate here on our way out of Missouri, stopped by later in the evening. George was our server, super cool guy. Food was great, service was great, for sure one of my favorite places I've eaten across the states. If you're in the area you should stop by, and order the steak sandwich with truffle potatoes. And ask for George! Good vibes, good people, good food. Super solid restaurant.

I heard good things about this place from a couple of the running buddies I was heading there with, so I was looking forward to it. I wasn't disappointed, and could have given it a higher rating even - except for a couple of minor issues with some blandness. This place is very nice - a refined, yet casual atmosphere. We were there about 9:30 am on Saturday, and the staff were all very helpful. Our server/waitress in particular was extremely pleasant and quite attentive. The other staff also did a good job keeping coffee and water full, as well as cleaning plates. I don't believe a cup or glass ever got to even half empty. Food itself all looked delicious. I was torn between getting the eggs benedict or the pancakes. But since I had heard the pancakes were so excellent, I got a dish that would include them. So I ordered scrambled eggs, with potato casserole (substituted sweet potato for regular), thick slice bacon, and two pancakes on the side. * The pancakes were indeed probably the best that I have ever tasted, no lie. They were light, yet substantive, and must have been made with about a stick of butter per pancake. Ohhh, so good. * Scrambled eggs were okay, but a bit bland. I guess that's just the nature of it. I added salt and pepper, but they really needed to have been cooked with some. They were fluffy and creamyish, though. * (Sweet) potato casserole had a nice mix of spinach, thin apple slices, and sauteed onion. However, the sweet potato chunks again were bland. Probably should have stayed with regular potatoes. As for others with me - they all thought the food was excellent. One order was for eggs benedict, which did look good. The other order was for Pretzel croissant French toast, which did look excellent, but kinda skimpy for the price to me.

This is my favorite restaurant in all of the Saint Louis area. Their menu changes with the seasons and it's always delicious and incredibly fresh. They are eco-minded and use organic products, but not at the cost of taste. Their food is the best I've had. They have the BEST eggs benedict with truffle hollandaise I have EVER had (they have several types but the Paris with melted Brie is my favorite). They have Sushi specials on some nights and always over-estimate how long it will take to get it. :) I love eating on the patio and when they open the big sliding doors when it's open. Their wine selection is ok. I love this place so much I even got engaged there and the waitress helped my husband put my ring in a to-go box unbeknownst to me. :)

A true organic restaurant in St. Charles. Lunch menu is reasonably priced. Happy hour offers great drink specials and some good appetizers. The dinner menu is way overpriced for small portion of food. The food is very good and the service is fairly decent. I truly like their lamb burger it is very tender and literally melts in your mouth. The Mediterranean salad is pretty delicious as well. I visit this place quite often and have always enjoyed my meals. The inside of the restaurant is very contemporary. A great date type of restaurant. I personally don't think St. Charles is the right market for this type of restaurant. The reason I say that, is because most of the time this place is dead unless it's the weekend then there are a few people. Nothing wrong with establishment I just think St. Charles isn't the right place. I could be wrong though but they have already closed a couple of their other locations in the nearby markets.

Awesome place to eat in St. Charles Co.! Yes, it's a little pricy but for the wonderful food and selection it's well worth it. I would suggest a reservation. For a special occasion or just a wonderful meal, I would recommend this restaurant. Our group had some of the tacos and fried shrimp as an appetizer. Both were delicious! The salmon was cooked to perfection and so flavorful. My husband had the sushi and said it was very good as well! I love to see great new restaurants like this here without having to always drive to the city.

This place just keeps getting busier, make sure you make a reservation if you want to sit in the dining room. If the gorgeous weather sticks around, the doors that separate the patio from the bar are opened up, creating a open and free flowing atmosphere! (I would call and make sure that the patio is open if I were you.) The whole bar and patio areas are first come/first serve so if you really want a nice seat you will have to come in a little earlier. Monday-Friday has happy hour from 3-7PM too!

Favorite restaurant, staff and chef are incredible. Turkey burger changed my life. For a restaurant as popular as it is the management goes out of their way to make your experience great!

I'm VERY impressed with this restaurant. Very trendy and appropriate for all ages. I had the lobster avocado and the chicken caprese sandwich. Amazing to say the least. Service was excellent and great atmosphere. I will definitely be back!!

I went to this place for a staff dinner for my work, and it was alright, it is very loud, and could hardly hear anyone talking unless they were right next to me. I think it might be due to the place being so open, not sure, the food was alright, nothing really too special. I would say if you wanted to try it, do that but I dont think i will be returning to this place to eat.

This is my new favorite place! The decor and atmosphere at prasino is right up my alley. This place has a wonderful wine and craft beer selection. This service here is first rate. Get the tuna tartar it's amazing, the flat breads are great (the farm is my favorite). The sushi is good fresh and tastey. Order anything on the menu and you won't be disappointed, I like to just order appetizers and sushi and flatbreads and eat dinner at a toppas pace. I can't say it enough I love it here. Go, eat and drink you'll love it too.

Definitely make a reservation! My reservation was for 6:15 PM and we were seated within 5 minutes of arriving. The people standing at the door without a reservation at 7:45 when we left were not quite as lucky. The food was great! The wait wasn't bad at all for as busy as they were on a Saturday night and well worth it. We had the chicken skewers with a tzatziki sauce that was perfectly paired with the seasoning on the chicken! My tempeh was fantastic and my fiance's St. Louis pork steak was like butter. He could have eaten it with his hands. Our server recommended a molten chocolate lava cake (gluten free of course) and now I recommend it too! Not overly sweet and you can really tell that the ingredients are carefully chosen. The service was just OK...until I was brought out the wrong entree. At that point the switch flipped and I got an incredible second half of my meal from my server and the manager. They were almost overly concerned with my level of service from that point on. I'll go back for the food and just hope that the service jumps up a step in the meantime.

Great service all through the dinner...we did take our time for over 2 hours. Led with the dragon and lobster sushi as appetizers. Great choice. Followed with the pork chop for me, spare ribs for my wife. Outstanding. Finished with berry pie and the peach cobbler. The desserts were made fresh and very good, but too much. Great atmosphere...there was a wedding party and all were happy. Had heard it was great and they were right.

I thought the food was great! The shaved steak was amazing! The sushi was great also. Only dislike I had was water from the sink being served at room temperature, and for the price drinking out of the sink in the bathroom was not a thing I like.

I met up with a large group and our waiter was great. There was a bit of delay on getting drinks but nothing too crazy. The atmosphere was nice and the food was awesome. I got the marghreta flat bread and had some left over to take home. It was pretty expensive though.

My mom and I were recommended Prasino by a friend, and I have to say it was well worth the drive from Chesterfield! There were numerous Missouri beers to choose on draft, an extensive wine list, and novel in-house cocktails for every taste. Our server, Kyle, walked us through the flavors and composition of each dish and drink well. The mussels were excellent - slightly spicy but with enough garlic and broth to keep it balanced. I very much liked the pork belly BLT, although it was plenty rich for my taste. The chicken, kale, and potatoes my mom had were excellent and up to her exacting standards. Pineapple sorbet and espresso were great ways to finish the meal, which was immensely satisfying in nearly every respect. Prasino was great, would eat here again!

We usually sit at the bar because we love the drinks! I usually get cocktails but I also try all of the beers my boyfriend orders which are equally as good. We always order too much food and can't make it to dessert. The shishito peppers were a bit heavy and very charred but still tasted good. The lobster avocado had cilantro so I tried to avoid that. I loved the pork tacos! Delicious sauce and on corn tortillas, a perfect appetizer. The beet salad is fresh and a huge portion (should have ordered the smaller size). I also tried the burger which would have tasted better if I had been hungry but those cocktails were going down much faster than the food. Also, love the large TVs at the bar, World Cup was on and Greece was playing.

I love the atmosphere, but was not amazed by the food or service. First, our water was lukewarm. Second, we ordered the hummus for an appetizer and we wished there were different options for dipping. The raw squash was just weird and it did not say on the menu that is what it came with. I had the pasta which was okay. The waiter asked if I wanted chicken or shrimp on it and I said chicken. (Thinking it came with it.) When we got the check, the chicken was an extra $6.50 and I had no idea! I wish he would have mentioned the extra cost. We also sat for 10 minutes after finishing our meal waiting for our check and the waiter passed us about 5 times helping other tables. We were going to look at the dessert menu, but got frustrated with the whole experience and just wanted to leave. Overall, not impressed.

Ordered the lamb sirloin sandwich and they were very skimpy with the meat, pretty much all bread and sauce. Then my GF order the lobster roll which was meh, kind of a super buttered up thing of bread with skimpy little parts of lobster. My vodka drink tasted like water with lime. The best part of our meal was the side potatoes. It's was an alright experience. For the prices I would suggest for the food to be better and not skimp out on things so they can make better profit margins. More of a place to go to for apps and a drink possibly. They could do better with the entrees.

I still like this place but I am sad that pretty much all but one familiar face left their positions here. I am suspicious that upper management is not doing so great of a job. :( Which sucks, because the servers, bartenders, hosts and hostesses, etc., all work really hard and I've always had nothing but stellar service here! I wish they treated their employees better so that people would stick around. Prasino feels so foreign to me every single time I go in now because of the turnover. Call it a weird thing to complain about but whatever. I am still giving them 5 stars for great service and food (my parents LOVED this place when I took them, and so did my BF's parents!) but seriously.... I have never seen such a high rate of turnover before. :( So tl;dr.... Prasino employees: keep kicking ass. I love you guys. Prasino upper management: please treat your employees better because they work really hard to keep your customers happy! The end. PS: On a more light-hearted noted, there's a button for the "Live Pure cocktail" in their computer now....WINNING!! PPS: If you go late at night sometimes they are burning thyme for the cocktails and it legit smells like ganja. At first I thought it was coming from one of the apartments or whatever is upstairs but the chef at the time(?) told me it was thyme! How strange!

Went here while out of town for work. I had the strip steak. The steak was good but the dressing on the wedge salad was SO salty it was almost inedible. I couldn't stop drinking water the rest of the night. It was not worth $30.

My husband and I are huge foodies. We love to try new and different restaurants anytime we can. We first Visited Prasino's two days ago on my husbands birthday, we wanted to go someplace nice, with great drinks, and great food. Well guess what ?? that is exactly what this place has. I absolutely loved it! I decided to go for it since I had read such great reviews about it, and I was so impressed by all of them. Let me tell you. This is one of the best restaurants i have been to in a long time. The staff is just phenomenal. We have been here twice on consecutive days and the attention from the staff and the great food did not stop. Really, the staff is actually knowledgeable and super friendly! We have only sat at the bar, but everything went great. They do have a happy hour, 4-7 I believe. and they are open reasonable hours. the atmosphere allows you to really dress up and enjoy your night. They also have outdoor seating. Which I love. Anyways, we tried the Chorizo seitan tacos, short rib tacos and the chicken skewers. All were great. Please please please give this place a try, its absolutely amazing!!!!

Great place to take a date and be impressed with the food selections and ambiance. I had the crab cakes Benedict which was like a sweet buttery indulgence of flavor and very filling with a side of truffle aioli potatoes! The other meal my fiancé had was the pesto salmon also very good and we both thought the truffle potatoes are to die for! The drink selection is very impressive and you can't go wrong with any of the desert choices. You must check this place out!

This restaurant has a become a regular spot for my family. Oftentimes, we have to wait for a table or we choose to wait at the bar until everyone arrives, but this is never a problem because the service is great! The bartenders are incredibly attentive & very friendly and we usually don't wait for very long before being seated. We love to order the shishito peppers while we wait. One out of every ten is spicy, and we enjoy seeing who gets the spicy ones while we wait to be seated or while we wait for our entrees. We have yet to have a bad server and they are usually very friendly while still maintaining a professional demeanor. They know the menu inside & out which is great for my family who is known to ask a lot of questions. I highly recommend this restaurant for families with older children or couples who are looking for a restaurant with delicious food, great atmosphere, & excellent service.

Expected this place to be packed and noisy but to my surprise it wasn't too bad at all. The decor was very modern as well. I have heard many great things about their menu so I had to try it out for myself. We ordered a sushi roll and filets. Sushi roll was a bit overpriced but still good. The filets were large at 10oz and the truffled potatoes were amazing. I would highly recommend both!!

Came here for brunch today (Sunday) around 1130. We put our name in for a table, 30 minute wait. We were told that on the bar side seating was first come first serve. After a few minutes 2 bar seats opened and we snatched em up. I had the Pomegranate mimosa, it was pretty good. My husband had the Bloody Mary, that was also good. The coffee is strong and hit the spot. Now onto our meal. I had the Hippie omelet. The omelet comes with goat cheese and a tomato jam. It was quite delicious. My husband got the Austin Texas plate. He enjoyed that as well. All in all the atmosphere, drinks and food was very good. The only thing lacking was the service. The poor girl behind the bar was running around doing a great job, but she needed help. The place was crowded and she was not only taking care of the bar but also making drinks for the servers. We will definitely come back to try dinner. Next time, I think we will wait for a table.

Kind of a weird location (around the back of one of those brand-new, built up complexes that never seem to fit in), but the food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. We had the lobster avocado which was awesome, you can tell the lobster isn't super fresh but that's a pretty unfair criticism when you're in the Midwest... The Prasino salad was incredible as was the short rib entree. So good!!

What a great place! A little hard to find (hint - look behind Tucano's) but worth the confusion. Beautiful on the inside, good service and great food. I took three customers there for lunch the other day and I think we managed to sample every corner of the menu. One opted for the Parisian Benedict, one had the burger and one had the short ribs. I went for the fish tacos. All reports were exceptionally positive! Looking around the table, I think I would have been perfectly happy with any of the other dishes I saw. Also worth noting is that everyone made it into the clean plate club so we ordered a dessert to split. The almond gooey butter cake isn't very closely related to a traditional butter cake but it was good. As for my fish tacos...I would most certainly order them again. Soft, warm tortillas that had to have been made in-house filled with a bunch of good stuff. Grilled fish that was seasoned and cooked to perfect level of doneness. Cilantro and lime flavors mingle with the slightly tangy guacamole. Finally, the use of jicama instead of cabbage really worked for me. Four tacos (they are not huge) in a lunch order with a side of spicy but flavorful finely ground salsa on the side made for a perfect lunch.

I can't believe the food at this place, so yummy! Went two nights in a row, on the second night brought my laptop and got lots of work done. The wait staff is high end, prices are totally reasonable, and food is five star -- healthy (if you want it, and eco-friendly) anddelicious. First night, Chipolte Seitan tacos, four of them, only $10, perfectly spiced and salsa was delicious. Rasberry tea, both nights, awesome, you put your own sugar or artificial sweetener in. They have Truvia! (from a natural herb called stevia) No brain damage from aspertame for me, thank you (why is sweet n low still legal???). Also had potatos, big mistake for $6.00 with aoili, I'm talking a too much food. Had to take it home, but yummy. Second night, skinless half chicken ($18), skinless on fresh steamed spinach and roasted potatos, so so good, and flatbread with mushrooms ($10) big mistake too much food. The flatbread had arugala on it. WOW. I wish there was a Prasino in San Francisco, I'd eat out every night. If I go back before I fly back to SF I'll be ordering the Vegan Sushi!!!

I can't give enough stars to this place! Amazing food, great new location, staff is A+, and the list goes on and on. I've been here with a large group of moms, brunch with friends, and anniversary dinner. All were super successful and yummy. I very highly recommend for brunch or drinks and dessert. You won't regret picking Prasino!

When I first heard about Prasino, I was interested in going because of its focus on being green/sustainable, and had several vegetarian options. Kate B, aka the duchass of Prasino, invited me to go and I couldn't turn her down! We went on a busy Saturday night, but got seated right away. By the time we left, the bar was hopping and people were waiting. It's a pretty darn big place, with a dining room, lounge area, and covered patio. Might be good to make reservations if you're going on a weekend night. Parking is no problem. Finding it is a little tricky, just ask like you're going to Tucano's, which is next door and visible from the street. I had the Farm flatbread (cheese, chives, truffle honey). It was good, though I barely detected any truffle, if at all. Good sized portion too. I also had the truffled potatoes, which were AMAZING. The truffle flavor and aioli were so flavorful. I could've eaten more than one order. Kate recommended a cocktail that was off menu, something with cucumber vodka and something fizzy, which was delicious and refreshing! Service was good too. All around good time. I came back for lunch recently, and was also seated right away. There was a brunch menu available too, which was extensive. I wanted to eat light, so I ordered the beet salad. And the potatoes. So much for light. The beet salad was HUGE. Now I know why there is a small size on the "sides" menu and I wished I had gotten it. The first few bites were good, but it was too much citrus flavor for me overall. The beets were good, but some of the greens tasted a little gritty. My dining partner also got this and had the same problem. I couldn't finish. I would go with another salad the next time. Overall, a great option in the St. Charles area. I'd come back for sure!

Went to prasino last night with some friends. We started off with drinks I had "Road to Havana" pretty tasty it had Ginger Beer in it. For starters we got the Lobster Avocado, Crispy Shrimp, Chicken Skewers and the Truffle Potatoes...Everything was yummers!! For our meals we all had sushi. Spicy Lobster, Killer Dragon and Shrimp and Salmon roll. By far the Spicy Lobster was the best one hands down it was great crunch which I love!! I gave 4 stars because I don't care for the parking at all. I'm bringing my husband next time so he can foot the bill.. lol lol lol.

Short Ribs were ridiculously good. I had a bite of the Pork Belly BLT and would highly recommend that as well. Great atmosphere. Good craft beers (2nd Shift, UCBC) on tap, and the house Merlot was smooth. Will definitely go back. FYI, they take reservations. We placed them the day before and I'd recommend doing so as well as they were packed by 630 on a Saturday.

Held a corporate event here and the staff did an incredible job hosting a large crowd. They had a special menu pre-selected and were clear on checks/alcohol service up-front. They were so gracious with our boisterous crowd and did a great job getting all of the food out at the same time. The back room is ideal for a large party to be isolated from the rest of the restaurant. The menu is diverse enough that they offer something for everyone. Will definitely return for drinks or dinner with friends and will absolutely recommend for future work events/large gatherings

So impressed by this place! I'm glad someone gave me a heads up on the location because it's basically tucked behind Tucano's Brazilian Grill. I wasn't sure what to expect, but when I walked up during lunch I was very pleasantly surprised! It was a nice day and the entire place was opened up. There was an awesome breeze inside but we decided to grab a spot on the patio anyway. Our waiter laughed at us several times because we ended up being absolutely freezing but not wanting to move. The space is so beautiful - seriously something special to see in St. Charles. We were sad to see they were only serving sushi for dinner now instead of lunch, but found plenty of things we liked. Here's a quick rundown: -House hummus: loved the veggies that were served with this, but the hummus was lacking some flavor. -Chorizo tacos: yes. Just yes. Order these and thank me later. Perfectly spicy, fresh veggies on top, and everything I wanted them to be. My sister also loved her shrimp tacos. -Roasted beet salad with goat cheese: fresh, flavorful, and healthy. The beets and oranges made the flavors pop, and it was dressed with a lemony vinaigrette. -My cousin (who's a vegetarian and entirely too picky) had a simple cheese omelet with house potatoes & was very happy. I'll definitely be back here and I can't wait to try dinner. I do think they need more staff during the day... our server was sporadic and you could tell he was stressed out. Otherwise, we had quite the ideal lunch! Way to go on this one, St. Charles. Way to go.

Amazing place with an amazing staff! Food was excellent. I would suggest with the pork steak, definitely the best pork steak i've ever had. They also have London Vodka as their rail vodka, which is a wonderful smooth vodka, they also have many specialty drinks that are seasonal and all very tasty. I would Highly suggest this place to anyone!

I had a business lunch there today, with five others from our office. Without exception, the food was excellent, with great presentation. We sampled from both the lunch and breakfast menus (breakfast is available until 3pm) and were all delighted. And the prices were more than reasonable, and the service was the best I've experienced in the St Louis area. If you can visit one restaurant in town, make it this one.

I had lunch here last month with my college chum. The place is beautiful and so well appointed. But THEY DO NOT SERVE DIET SODA! I was so put out with this announcement, that I almost upped myself to going to the quite convenient QT to get my own diet soda. Keep in mind that they offer sweetener for coffee or tea. But they don't offer diet soda. Figure that out.. My college chum got the turkey burger with fries. I got the Prasino burger with French onion soup. There were other options available as the side with the burger, but they weren't on the menu and were recited by our server -- which makes me think they may vary from day to day. The soup was delicious and would have served as a meal in and of itself. It was served in an iron casserole with great broth, nicely cooked onions, very large croutons (really pieces of French bread) and cheese (maybe Swiss or Gruyere). The burger was great-tasting, cooked perfectly meduim, and the tomato jam was quite nice. My college chum said her turkey burger was fabulous and was so good and moist, it could have passed as a meat patty. The food was good. I can live without the pretentious crapola . . and if I go again, I'll stop into the QT for a diet soda.

After two visits, I'd have to say it's a bit over-rated. On my first visit, I had the lobster roll - which was dry and begged for mayo. On my second, I had the polar bear sushi, which was very good, but was a simple 8 piece tuna roll (with wasabi mayo) and was completely over-priced. My wife swears the burger is one of the best she's had. As far as the atmosphere, it is a well kept modern restaurant and it is enormous. Their main dining area has a huge mirror etched with phrases like "green living" and "organic", and according to their menu they make all attempts to use local and organic sources. Nowhere did I see a list of local or organic farms that they use, nor did the menu specify which dishes were organic. It left me suspicious of their sustainability claims and curious whether Prasino is to organic as PF Changs is to Chinese food .

Prasino is an upscale, stylish restaurant in St. Charles that is tucked away in a strip mall. Apple maps will bring you to the general area, but you will need to rely on your eyes to find this place if you are not familiar with the St. Charles area. Prasino is a great place to dine at for a business lunch or dinner date. The ambiance reminded me of the upscale and trendy 'green' restaurants in Scottsdale, Arizona. The lobster and the lamb sirloin sandwiches were delicious. The portions were smaller, but very good which is what matters most to me. Currently, there are only four locations in the U.S. Hopefully, they can continue to with the good quality farm-to-table concept if they expand. I'll definitely be back to dine when I have another event at the St. Charles Convention center! I arrived at 5:00pm and was lucky I did not have to wait for a table. This place (especially the bar) was packed during prime dining hours. Be prepared to wait if you do not have a reservation.

My Fiance, daughter, and I went here for lunch. This Restaurant is new in St. Charles. It was our first time there and it was Great! Our waiter George was very nice and treated us like Family. I will tell all my Friends and Family about Prasino. I had the Turkey Burger and my Fiance had the steak sandwich which were delightful with the potatoes for the side. We will be back. We had a Great time and the Staff were very Friendly. Check them out today!

Amazing! First of all the black tea was some of the best tasting tea I have ever had! The Greek salad was out of this world! The vegetables all tasted like they had been picked that day. The dressing was fantastic. I ordered the pork belly and scallop tacos. I wanted to try something new. I never knew these two flavors worked so well together. And the red wine reduction was perfect. I also ordered the truffled potatoes. These were loaded with flavor but too rich for me to eat more than a few. My fiancée ordered the fish tacos and she loved them. The only thing I didn't understand was the room temperature "table water". I personally like cold water with my meal. All and all the experience was fantastic.

We had a great time and got a little carried away with all the food. First, reservations are recommended on busy nights. We did not have reservations but our wait was only about 20 minutes on a Saturday night. The killer dragon sushi roll was awesome- it literally looks like a serpent dragon, and the taste is amazing. The ginger garnish had a powerful taste and was a great compliment to the sushi itself. Prasino emphasizes organic, sustainable food, so a lot of their menu uses surprisingly simple ingredients, like potatoes, combined with a lot arugula, for example. The menu has a good selection with a number of interesting meals, including local favorites like pork steak. The lobster roll looks and tastes great. We also got dessert, which included key lime cheesecake and chocolate cake. Dinner at Prasino is a treat, and we look forward to our next visit.

Dinner entrees are a very small serving size & way overpriced! $32 for 3 quarter to half dollar size scallops with no side & $19 for a 1/2 chicken which is more like a 1/2 Cornish hen. Bristols would have been a better choice. Stick to lunch menu, burger platter size looks better for $$ but still overpriced & just ok

As good as any fusion restaurant in some of the major foodie metropolitan cities such as Oakland, San Francisco, Portland, Austin, and New York. But the biggest surprise of the modern, open-plan space in St. Charles is their remarkable wine list. I was so surprised to see some lesser-known, but award-winning NorCal vineyards on their expansive list - but the PDF wine list on their website is disappointingly out-dated. Their real wine selection is a testament to knowledge of their wine buyer so if you like wine, make the drive! The food was good. I would give it 3.5 stars. The short ribs were moist with three huge chunks that lasted for three meals for me. Everyone says their sushi is fresh and delicious and I saw a lot of it coming out of the kitchen. I ordered the peppers and it is a strange dish that can serve 10 people, you have to love peppers if you get this dish. I had two dinners back-to-back: the Prasino salad with fresh berries and the beet salad the second night. Both were good. The one preparation that missed the mark for me was the hummus. I ordered the crudite with hummus that came with a generous serving of veggies but the hummus didn't taste like well - hummus. I still can't put my finger on it but it has some kind of reddish tint and doesn't taste like hummus. I think they made have used paprika but the other traditional hummus flavor is absent. The desserts are delicious. And have I mentioned the wine? I could eat there five nights in a row and get a wonderful, reasonably-priced bottle each night. Totally worth the trip!

I had excellent service here, and the glass of sparkling moscato I had was absolutely wonderful. I didn't think the food was great, though. I started with a Prasino salad, which I had requested to have no onions. They did not put red onions in the salad, however, there were many tiny onions within the salad which could not be picked out. My main course was a ribeye topped with a blue cheese sauce. It tasted great, but the ribeye was mostly fat, so I consumed very little of this dish. The entree also came with a great tasting tomato sauce, and some golden potato wedges which were not thoroughly cooked. I prefer potatoes to be soft, and cooked all the way through. Dessert course was pretty good - I had a "gooey butter cake" which probably should have been renamed "almond cake topped with cheesecake". It was tasty, and I recommend it, but it did not remind me much of the gooey butter cakes I have tried. I may return to Prasino at some time, but I will likely not go out of my way to do so.

I attended a private event here. We were given a private room inside of what looked like a wine room (very hip looking but also freezing) and also a private section of the outdoor seating area. The appetizers of flatbread pizza and crab cakes were a great start. The beet and goat cheese salad was deliciously sweet and crunchy. The steak was cooked very well in a tomato sauce with a blue cheese topping. The blueberry cheese was wonderfully creamy. I would definitely come back here again to try more food!

I had my heart set on a new vegetarian restaurant closer to the city but A) it was stupid cold, B) my coworkers and I were traveling and had had a long day, and C) they're omnivores and I think they wanted meat. I tried to forget my disappointment and give this place a chance and it didn't disappoint at all. The decor was dark upscale, they kind of artsy place you can take clients for a business dinner. You can sit at the high-tops in the front and enjoy happy hour prices with a full menu or have the sit-down dining experience in the back. We chose the cheap drinks in front - you're welcome unnamed client who'll get the bill. There were vegetarian, vegan, and omni options on the menu and a nice cocktail and wine list as well. I had the chorizo seitan tacos and they were amazing. Our server either got busy or disinterested as we wrapped up dinner, we probably would have ordered another round but he never asked so we got the check. This was probably not a bad thing - it had been a long day. The drinks were tasty but they weren't strong - this seems like the kind of place that follows a strict one ounce pour but I could be wrong. We will go back though.

Vegan options galore. Friendly staff. Fun atmosphere. Sign me up! I love everything about this place and I plan on coming back every future trip to STL.

Ambience: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Breakfast/brunch: 5/5 Dinner: 3/5 My first experience here was at dinner, and I was less than pleased with my flank steak that came our rare instead of medium rare. My friend ordered plain vegetables without seasoning as a side, and they came out smothered in oil. The New American style is just not my thing anyway, so after that first experience, I had no intention of returning. But I did return for breakfast by unexpectedly when the restaurant adjacent was closed on a Sunday afternoon. My husband and I decided to try brunch here, and it was the best Eggs Benedict with a twist that I had ever had: Paris Benedict. Pretzel croissant, Brie, hollandaise, it was all delicious and perfectly seasoned. Whether you choose a side of breakfast potatoes or sweet potatoes with apple and spinach, you can't go wrong. The portions are more than enough which usually I worry about at a restaurant of this type. The ambience may be the best part as well from the sustainable furnishings to the all natural and often local ingredients. This is by far my husband and I's favorite breakfast place in the St. Louis area. The staff is friendly and very accommodating - an awesome establishment that is Eco-friendly and delicious!

Good food and great atmosphere. The place had a unique style and cool glasses made from recycled wine bottles. There were a lot of people but we were seated immediately and the food didn't take too long.

Love the ambiance, variety of the menu and friendliness of the staff. Bar area is pretty large and tables are big enough to have dinner if the dining area is busy. Order the short ribs, you won't be disappointed. My friends also ordered the 1/2 brick chicken which they said was very tasty. The pork belly and scallop tacos are also very good comes with a 4! Save room for dessert and order the bread pudding. The descriptions of all the desserts just make you want to try everything.

January 17, 2014 Great atmosphere. Even greater bar area! Great selection of wine by glass. We were expecting something different and we got something different! The place was jumping busy this night. Excellent! I had the pork tenderloin with a salad, my date had the lamb sammich.

Had dinner for my dad's birthday here. Great happy hour specials and fresh tasty food. Bar are has a nice Restoration Hardware type feel too it and they try to source all of their foods an beers locally. Area around the restaurant is a new "walking area" with a mini-downtown feel to it. Still rather under construction and the parking is a little messy, but not too bad. Overall a great experience for a great price.

Sunday afternoon. 8 people on the patio. 15 min to order a drink and the weird ass waitress calls us "babies". Not a fan!

I am not a fan of leaving the city to try a new restaurant, but when I found out that I was going to Prasino for a birthday brunch I couldn't wait to get there! I had heard such good reviews about Prasino and I was excited to give it a try myself. I arrived on a Sunday afternoon for brunch with a friend of mine. We were celebrating her birthday and she chose a great place! We were expecting a wait, but were pleasantly surprised when they had a table available outside (this was back in August)! We were seated right away and our server came over immediately to offer us water and coffee. She also provided us the menu and told us to let her know when we were ready to order. I decided to order their pancakes and my friend ordered an egg or something like that. I can't really remember the details of her order. My pancakes came out with strawberries and warm maple syrup. I was in love. Our server came over a few times to check on us and also provided us the bill. My friend had a bracelet (do they still do those) where we got a small discount which was kind of awesome! I like to save money when I can. I would like to go back for lunch or dinner one day because I was so impressed with the concept of their restaurant and the food was all so delicious.

Manager was a jerk. Acted like he was king! My friend ordered a HOUSE cab. As someone who worked in the industry for yrs this means a cheap glass of wine. The waitress offered her two diff kinds and recommended one over the other. My friend said ok under the assumption they would be reasonably priced. When she got her bill it was $17 a glass!!!! This is not House pricing. Manager didn't care and wasn't willing to fix the situation. In order for him to change the price to $9 we had to ask him to do so. When he returned he gave a sarcastic response. Who does that!!! This manager is a jerk and should be let go. Little did he know who was at the table and how this will come back to bite the restaurant. This was last Saturday evening. Food tasted fine.

I went here for a special date night and loved it! The place is very nice, very romantic for a date night. The service was amazing. The waiter we had was spectacular, so nice, funny, and helpful when suggesting what to order. The food was good, my only complaint was the portions. My boyfriend left hungry and I certainly didn't have any left overs. For the price more food was expected. But overall it was great.

We visited 2/15/15, atmosphere is nice. Restaurant was chilly, food was cold, waiter was unhelpful! Lots of room for improvement including when a dish is loaded with heat, you might want to mention it in the description on the MENU!

We decided on Prasino after reading the fantastic Yelp reviews from my buddies. I was NOT disappointed! This place was much more chic than I thought. It is located in the new development where the old Noah's Ark used to be on the south side of highway 70. The decor is very loft like with very high ceilings and modern feel. Near the front is a bar with large flat screen TVs that is nice for lounging and drinks. They also have a couple rooms for groups and parties. We were seated in the back near the LED-lit wine coolers. The menu is very diverse with a broad range of dishes from steak to flat bread pizza and sushi. They are a very "green/sustainable" type restaurant with ingredients from local farms. They also have numerous vegan dishes which was very surprising. We started out by ordering the chorizo tacos (Aimee's rec!) and the beet salad. Both were excellent. The chorizo tacos were amazing. Who would have thunk it? I ordered the short ribs with the decadent cauliflower gratin. The short ribs were incredible and melted in your mouth. Also a decent size as I was unable to finish and brought the second half home to enjoy the following day. One item that is on my short list for next time is the truffled potatoes. I didn't have enough room on this visit. We will definitely return. We were actually so pleased with our dinner that we purchased a GC for my parents!

We decided to stop in before going to the movies since we weren't going to out usual theatre (AMC Dine In on Olive). The food was good I got the chorizo tacos and we got the lobster and avocado as our appetizer. However we were the only ones in the restaurant and the only people there were leaving as we were sitting down. It took 15-20 minutes and a lot of uncomfortable dead stare eye contact (from me) for the waiter to take our drink orders, he was friendly but come on your restaurant is in the middle of nowhere St. Charles step up your game lol

Great ambience. Good food selection. I really recommend the lamb kofta. I wanted to get more! My boyfriend ordered the pork steak and we were not impressed by that particlar meal. Would def try other foods though and return...just not on a weekend. Reservation is paramount. We had a reservation and still had to wait :-(

My wife and I came in here for the first time today. After hearing all the reviews I had to try it. We started off with the lobster avocado appetizer, it was amazing. We also got two cocktails, I forgot the names, but they were amazing. For dinner we ordered the pork belly and scallop tacos, pan roasted pork loin. The pork belly in my tacos were a little over done, and the same with my wife's pork loin. My wife didn't seem to mind her pork was a little over cooked, but my pork belly really lost it's flavor from being over cooked. I would give those tacos 2.5 out of 5 stars. Overall our experience great. We will definitely be back for the lobster avocado, and some delicious cocktails!

I was not wowed by Prasino. It's a big modern place with muted tones, reclaimed wood floors (I thnk) and all that, which is fine. The service was very good. It's a fine restaurant and a very nice option for St. Charles, which I think is kind of lacking in places that are good for a business lunch (exactly what I came for). No diet soda? Very strange. Maybe there's some aspect of the concept I don't understand. Oh, well, tea will do. Looking at the menu, there is definitely some evidence of creativity in the kitchen. Short Rib tacos or Lamb Sirloin, anyone? I was thinking healthy, so I ordered the fish tacos. They were kind of bland and not nearly as good as you'd get at a local taqueria. The fish was cooked perfectly, though, hot and flaky. It was just not very flavorful, and they didn't give enough sauce for my taste. They have five versions of tacos on the menu, so I would think they're pretty proud of their Mexican creations. I just wasn't all that impressed. I'll probably be back sometime for a business lunch. I won't get the fish tacos again, but I won't be surprised if they do have something really good on the menu.

Totally awesome! Came here for lunch with Kate B. last weekend. OMG! Their flatbreads are delish! They have 365 brand cola that's made with cane sugar (& not with the high fructose crap). Love love love the ambiance! Reclaimed & recycled materials gives it an earthy feel. Plenty of light & very open. I love the layout of the restaurant! I sooo want to come back here & try more stuff. Staff were very helpful. The food came out at a timely manner, & the price is a bit steep for my budget. But worth every penny.

My boyfriend took me to Prasino for happy hour this past Friday, and I was impressed! The bar was packed when we arrived at 6pm - but luckily their happy hour goes until 7. My boyfriend is in a wheelchair, and usually bars are out for us because it is awkward with me sitting at a high table and him in his chair. Prasino not only has low tables in the bar area, they even have a fold out lowered bar top at the actual bar - so he was able to sit there! The manager and bar tender were both very helpful and friendly as we were ordering. They have decent discounts on the happy hour items - and their specialty cocktails are discounted from $11 to $6. We tried nearly all the cocktails..although they were out of some as the ingredients were going out of season. My favorites were the Bootleggin' Killdevil and A Little Heat from Mexico. We also ordered the pork nachos and the Prasino burger. The nachos were great, and the burger was AWESOME! I don't know if it was the tomato relish, or the pickled onion...but it was the best burger I've ever had. It was cooked perfectly, and was really juicy. My boyfriend and I were both regretting we decided to split it. I can't wait to go back to try more of the menu - looks like they also serve breakfast and brunch judging from the other reviews. The only thing I was disappointed about was the patio - I had heard it was huge, but it seemed pretty small to me. I might have missed some of it because of how crowded it was. Regardless, still a very nice place with a great ambiance - very modern, clean decor.

Another winner in the small town! of St. Charles. The comtemporary decor of the place surely makes you feel that you are their to hang out and have fun. From the decor standpoint, I do not find the place romantic - that is not a bad thing - if you are on a first date or out there hanging out with your colleagues! The beet salad, lobster roll, fish tacos, and the cheese tray are my favourites. The service could be a bit better - we felt that the server was particularly eager to take our plates away ... we just felt a bit rushed towards the end ... and we were not there for very long!!

I was impressed with pretty much everything at this place. The ambiance, food, patio seating, drinks, dessert and service were all perfect. We started with the Spreads for an appetizer. The bread was toasted, heart shaped and cut in half. Cute! The three spreads were very tasty and all very different. I had 2 cosmopolitans and they were perfect! I had the Pesto Salmon and it may be one of the freshest pieces of salmon I've ever had in the Midwest. Actually, I'm sure it is. The fish is flown in daily and then it was perfectly prepared. I mean, perfect! My friend had the fish tacos and she said the same thing. Perfect! Finally, we finished our meal off with dessert. It was a decadent chocolate cake with caramel on top and a small scoop of ice cream. The cake was warm and the ice cream cold. Perfect combination! Why not 5 stars, you ask? The portions are a little on the small side. We had all the food above and I was satisfied, but not overly stuffed. Not that I wanted to be, but I'm just letting you know you can eat a 3 course meal, spend a pretty penny and have nothing left to take home. I am already looking forward to my next visit.

The happy hour here is awesome. We got some of their signature cocktails and their brisket nachos. Along with an entree to share. Everything was very good, very reasonable, and the service was outstanding. Will be back frequently (especially since it's on my way home from work)

This is an upscale trendy place that is also very kid-friendly. Great atmosphere, even if a little on the loud side at times. Service was excellent; unpretentious but prompt. We started with dirty martinis (perfect for my taste) and the trio of spreads sampler (delicious). My husband ordered the halibut fish special for his entree, which he devoured. I opted for the vegan sushi and found it to be above average. Kid portion of pasta & cheese is large and tasty. Older kid swears they have the best strawberry lemonade - ever! ;) We would definitely dine here again next time we're in town.

Such a great place for dining! The food was outstanding! I had the Brick half chicken with greens and potatoes. It was so good! The Kale greens were very tender and the chicken was fall apart delicious. It can be a bit noisy during the dining rush but overall, it wasn't a big deal. We went on a Sunday evening without reservations and we were seated immediately. The waiter, George, was very attentive and recommended some great drinks. He also knew a lot about the menu, which I love, especially if I'm trying a new place. The band was playing and the atmosphere was very romantic. It's a great choice for a first date or romantic evening with a significant other. All in all, one of the best restaurants I've been to in a long time. Nice job!

We had dinner at Prasino the other night with a friend from out of town. As usual, the restaurant was busy, but we had reservations ahead of time. The food was great but the service left something to be desired. Our waitress was fairly hard to hear given the noise level (not an issue at first). We ordered a bottle of wine for the table (1/2 Price Wednesday special) and ordered just entrees. When all of our entrees arrived, I realized that our waitress had mistakenly given me the bbq pork steak instead of the roasted pork loin. I politely corrected her and she said she would have it remade and it would take about 10 minutes. An annoyance, sure, but we were having a good time. When she came back out later to check on our food, she said something to the effect of "that'll be taken off the bill", which I was pleased with. However, when she returned later with the bill, I was surprised to find the entree still on the bill. When I asked her about this, she stated, "oh, no. you don't have to pay for the pork steak, i paid for that." I wasn't aware that I was responsible for paying for the waitresses mistake and that she was doing me a favor by removing it. A little bit taken aback, I asked if they could do anything for us at all, and she ended up comp'ing the dessert. I really like this restaurant, the food and ambiance are great, but the service on this trip left a bit to be desired, especially after having had great experiences on previous visits and a large company gathering I had hosted there. Maybe next time will be better.

Prasino is absolutely wonderful for breakfast (which is served till 3:00pm!), lunch or dinner. My husband & I have been there several times & from the very first time we had dinner, we loved the vibe, excellent food, & great customer service. We recommend Prasino to all of our family & friends. You can tell there's a lot of love that's put into making the food. Each bite is delectable. Each bite. My trouble is picking just one thing to eat because it's all so delicious!!! Thank You Prasino!

Excellent dinner and service. Started with the hummus which I thought was perfectly seasoned served with fresh vegetables and fresh pita. We then shared a green salad which tasted like it had just been picked fresh from the garden that day. Followed by the half brick chicken. It was seasoned to perfection and juicy. Accompanied with sautéed kale, potatoes & cauliflower au gratin. YUMMY!!! Will definitely go again

Visiting from Dallas, TX and had a business dinner in the lounge area. I really wish I remembered our servers name because she was 1st class all the way!! A great server is crucial to a great experience. Two in our party were locals and fans of the local beers, and this was their first visit--they will certainly be returning. The 4th in our party was form Baltimore, MD. The layout, decor and ambiance was outstanding. Whoever designed this place knows what they are doing. This place would fit in any Downtown major city. Good beer selection, good happy hour prices, certainly not a sports bar, but had plenty of TV's to keep up w/ the Heat / Spurs game. The muscles appetizer was very good. Our Baltimore companion was impressed, and Baltimore is the best place in the country for Muscles. The flat bread appetizer was probably the best I've ever had. Our whole table was raving over it. I only know there was bacon on it, but the cheese and bread combination was insane good. We had super high expectations for the next round. Lobster roll was only marginal. We got two of the sushi plates, good but if you're a sushi snob I'd recommend passing. The 4th was the Chicken sandwich. They liked it, but I would never order a chicken sandwich in a place like this--spread your wings in fly when you are at a place like this. I'll probably be back in the area 2 or 3 more times over the next 2 months and I will most certainly be coming back. Another visit may kick my rating to a 5 stars. NOTE to the owners. North Texas--Plano, Allen, McKinney, Fisco is growing like mad. You would be a huge hit if you put opened up down here. Plano has a place called Whiskey Cake that is always packed. (similar concept as your place) You are just a little more upscale.

This place is by far the best restaurant St. Charles has seen since....well...ever! Im glad I don't have to drive to Clayton or to the CWE every time I want some healthy eats. I have been here too many times to count and have been too engaged in all the deliciousness to stop and check in. Overall this place is fantastic from the fresh cocktails and food to the gorgeous ambiance. My must haves: - all the seasonal cocktails (not sure if that makes me an alcoholic?!) But I do have a favorite that i start with every time and its the Summer Thyme. This drink is never too much of a good thing as long as you have a DD.. -Sushi- shrimp and salmon, dragon and polar bear! Apps- lobster avocado, tuna tar tar, and stk. skewers Flats breads- all are so yummy! Big plates- salmon, halibut, skirt steak, and pork steak!!! This place is great for many occasions and its poppin!!! So yes it going to be noisy if you don't like then go eat in a library. I have to admit that many of STL great restaurants are noisy (because a lot of people go there) so it doesn't bother me ... I love places that have an awesome vibe and life! Prasino's where its at!

Urban loft & sidewalk cafe design in the suburbs with a breakfast / brunch served till 3 PM made me interested. The hippie omelette, loose leaf green tea & friendly waitress made me a fan. Paying a little extra will keep me from making this a regular spot. High ceilings and nice decorations (with a very cool door separating the interior & exterior dining area) made the place seem out of place in St Chuck.... But I had views of the parking lot & highway so welcome to St Chuck. The hippie omelette had great blend of flavors & served with spiced diced fries & toast. I asked for hot sauce & got a tasty saucer of salsa. The tea was loose leaf in a French press. I was given a cute miniature pitcher of thick natural honey. I never had tea from a French press & did not know that it gets very strong & bitter if left in the press. The last amount of honey was retrieved by pouring tea into the thimble pitcher to dissolve the honey. I will return. This is a very well planned corporate restaurant & bar with a late brunch.

My boyfriend and I decided to go here after receive a gift card from my boss. The gift card was a small square, different than most, so I went into the experience expecting something very cool. I was not disappointed. I ordered the vegetarian chorizo seitan tacos, and my boyfriend had the pork steak. I loved the tacos. They were spicy and wonderful. My boyfriend liked the pork steak too, but I don't think he liked it nearly as much as I enjoyed the tacos. The price was a little more than I would spend normally, but for special occasions, I could easily see myself going to Prasino again. I only gave four stars because I love trying new drinks. After ordering food, I decided I would like a cocktail to go with my meal. I asked the waiter, who was very enthusiastic, to recommend something for me to try that would go with the tacos. He recommended the green, which on it's own is fantastic. It was pretty terrible paired with my food. I would have rather guessed on something new than have a bad suggestion. I'm glad I had water.

Went there for breakfast. Twice. First go -totally satisfied my sweet tooth. I had the pretzel croissant french toast (white chocolate sauce, salted caramel). Decadent. The next day, I went for an omelette. The hippie (spinach, basil, goat cheese, tomato jam). Never had tomato jam before. It was unusual, but delicious nonetheless. I like the ambience, too. All around enjoyable experience.

No really impressed with the restaurant, beautiful space and great service but the menu was strange. No real rhyme or reason to it. We sampled several things that our waitress recommended a lobster app that was very good and the kale ceaser salad was great a friend ordered the rib eye and that didn't look bad, mixed drinks were way too sweet. I tried a sushi roll, not good at all and the shrimp app wasn't good either. I would try it again but not for dinner, maybe for brunch. I would rather drive into the city and pay the same price at another local restaurant.

I thought new restaurants were supposed to have growing pains?! If they ever had any, Prasino grew up quick! Prasino is bright, shiny, and new in St. Charles. I was SO excited to try it because of their philosophy of using hormone/anti-biotic free meats, sustainable seafood, organic produce and eggs. I was even more excited because they have a bunch of gluten free menu options for my husband. Prasino lived up to my expectations and even exceeded them. I went on a very nice weather day and the bar area was opened to the patio which allowed for a nice breeze to flow throughout the bar. I went with two other ladies and we tried several of the drinks including the Prasino Fizz, Green, and Summer Thyme. All three were delicious and beautiful with fresh herbs in them. At happy hour prices, these were even more delicious! For appetizers, we tried the lobster avocado and a bacon and goat cheese flatbread. The avocado was half an avocado stuffed with a LOT of lobster which was nicely dressed. The flatbread was also delicious. For dinner entrees, our group tried the pork belly and scallop tacos, the short rib tacos, and the lamb sirloin sandwich with truffled potato wedges (YUM!). Again, we each loved what we got and swore we'd be back a lot. The décor and ambiance of the place is contemporary but friendly and the service is fantastic. Our server, Kelsey, was very friendly and helpful with menu selections. It's good to know that the staff has tried a lot of the food. I always think this is a sign of a good restaurant. I'm sure Prosino is going to become a favorite in my house. Can't wait to go back!!

A BREATH OF FRESH AIR FOR ST. CHARLES!!! First time dining here. Simply amazing! We had the Prasino Burger, Short Rib Nachos, Lobster Roll, and Bacon Flatbread. We also tried numerous specialty drinks. Everything was perfect. We sat and the bar and were served by Naomi and Mandi whom were both EXCELLENT. The manager, Andrea, also stopped by frequently to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. Being our first time there, it was a little overwhelming decided on just what to try, and Andrea seemed thrilled to act as our "Tour Guide" through the whole process. We were very impressed with Andrea's level of knowledge and enthusiasm. I have worked in the food industry for years, and I know a good venue when I see one. Everything I experienced during my first visit to Prasino ensured that I will return and I HIGHLY recommend going to check it out. Thank you Naomi, Mandi and Andrea! We will be back weekly now and will recommend Prasino to EVERYONE WE KNOW! Prasino is a huge breath of fresh air for St. Charles! P.S. For someone who is hesitant on what to try I would certainly suggest the Prasino Burger, which was only $6 during happer hour on the day we went. (3-7pm)

Ok so I got off to a bad start. They offer a very impressive bourbon list. My first 3 choices of bourbon from the list I was told they were out of those selections. Neverending the 3 bottles of 1 within eyesight. OK inventory control in computer malfunction . Food was exceptional. Had the short ribs which were wonderful. Bill had an interesting entry that I hadn't seen before. A "rocks" charge of $2per drink for serving on the rocks apparently due to the pour. Server was very pleasant.

Terrible experience!!! Rude server, food was not fresh and so called fresh fruit was canned fruit. The decor is beautiful and atmosphere was great. The place is huge and has an excellent set up but the service and food was terrible at best. I was also confused from the menu because it offers pizza, burgers, lobster rolls, tacos, sushi and much more. I don't think one restaurant can specialize in such a variety. I don't see myself eating a burger and sushi from the same place. When I asked the server for recommendations she said everything is ok nothing great so pick what you want and I'll be back (which took 20 mins to get back to us). For me the service and food is all that matters, not the place the atmosphere or anything and this place seems to have it backwards.

My initial reaction to Prasino is "finally!" We dined here twice this week. We usually go into Clayton or downtown when we get a babysitter because we don't want to eat at chain restaurants or be surrounded by chicken fried chicken. We live 2 minutes away from Prasino, and when we heard that a new organic sustainable restaurant was opening down the street, we were cautiously optimistic. What a pleasant surprise! My husband can vouch for the old fashioneds, and I ordered a great glass of wine. The menu is innovative and very creative. We ordered the lobster avocado app the 1st time, which was amazing. The 2nd time, we ordered the tuna tartar which was also fabulous and super fresh. For dinner, I ordered the pork belly and scallop tacos the 1st time and fish tacos the 2nd time. These were unbelievably great. So so delicious! My husband ordered the halibut which was super fresh, and the 2nd time, he ordered the short ribs which were also so great. For dessert, the 1st time we got the gooey butter cake, which was disappointing actually. It was dry and not like the St. Louis gooey butter cake we all know and love. The 2nd time we got the chocolate molten cake which was amazing. The peanut brittle that came with it was mouth watering. We love this restaurant and just hope that St. Charles can get with the program and support this awesome place!

Ok.....i did a review on Prasino's about a year ago...and gave it an overall pretty good reference. However I remarked about the noise level and not so attentive staff. But the food was very good. I got a nice note from the manager after that review, and he indicated he was sorry and to ask for him next time I returned. And while I returned I never asked for the manager. Since my first review I have now been to Prasino's at least 15 times...and each time the experience and good has been nothing short of excellent. I have travelled a fair amount, dined out a lot...and Prasino's is right there amongst the best. The food is interesting, creative and very tasty. The service is outstanding.....today we had Jimmy serving us (Sunday Breakfast), and he did an outstanding job, with good sense of humor, very responsive etc. So...my first visit about two years ago, things were just kinda of average, but now, this place is nothing short of excellent. kevin

I was skeptical - high-end decor, good reviews. However, I have never had a dish that I didn't enjoy.

I really, really wanted to like this restaurant. It has a great vibe. I like the green theme and the menu choices are great because my wife is a vegetarian and I'm not. The happy hour has got great drinks and good hours of pricing. However, I went to the restaurant three separate times. Each time the service got worse and the food, which started off not bad, also became poor. I've had each happy hour item and each form of sushi. We've also had all of the vegetarian items. The service on our last visit was uninspired and the waiter didn't seem to care to want to answer any questions, refill water bottle, or check and see how we were doing. Our entrees were not hot and pretty tasteless. I'm willing to give it one more shot, but it will be my last time if it is not good.

The decor and ambiance are nice and their motto of using all natural and local food whenever possible is admirable. However, that's pretty much where the positives stop. The service was awful. I'm being polite. We were a group of 10, granted, there had been enough places set for 12, but you'd think after sitting for AN HOUR a smarter waitress might have asked if we were still waiting for people or if we wanted to go ahead and order. So, after AN HOUR of sitting there drinking as much water as possible without drowning because there wasn't even bread or anything to keep us from eating each other, I, being pregnant and starving, kindly let the waitress know we're ready to order. She seemed surprised. Ugh. After half an hour, we finally got our very over-seasoned food. We finished our dinners and were eventually given our checks. USUALLY if a waitress sees half a meal still on the plate you would assume they would eagerly offer you a box. Ha! Not our waitress. I ask for a box and something must have clicked because she kindly asked the table if anyone else needed a box too. I will say, the prices weren't too bad....unless you're the patron that asks for a glass of HOUSE Cabernet and when she's told there isn't a HOUSE brand (which, if you're unfamiliar with "house," usually means the cheapest) and ends up getting recommended and charged for the most expensive glass of Cabernet. She raised hell with the waitress, and then again with the manager, who tried to explain the actions of the waitress before graciously charging her for the less expensive version of Cabernet instead of apologizing for the inconvenience. I have no idea if any other tables experienced the same fate as we did, but I plan on not finding out if our evening was a fluke because I plan on never going back. But otherwise, girl's night out was fun. :-)

I got to try the sushi and it didn't disappoint. I had the lava roll. I also ordered the mussels again. The weren't as good as last time. They were smaller and and didn't have a much kick as last time. I also got to sample the killer dragon roll and the Prasino burger both were tasty. The truffle french fries were a little on the greasy side. Service wasn't as good as last time, but they were busier. We ate on the bar side. I like the dining side better. It was my friend's 50th birthday, and she was given a free dessert. It was an apple tart with ice cream. The ice cream was a big hit. I'll be back because there are many more menu items I would like to try.

We have done breakfast a couple of times at the Prasino in LaGrange and really enjoyed the innovative menu, clean modern design and friendly staff - it was really nice getting the chance to try this new location - my wife, daughter and I enjoyed the engaging ambiance and interesting dinner menu. My only complaint was that we ordered the garden vegetable flatbread with truffle honey and it didn't arrive until we got our entrees - but when it did arrive it was definitely a "worth the wait" experience! For dinner my daughter tried the barbecue pork tenderloin - it was served with a large jalapeño cornbread biscuit - she really seemed to enjoy it - I didn't sample the pork but shared some of the biscuit - I would go back just for that.... My wife had the salmon special with kale and waffle cut potato crisps, and I had a "redfish" special with saffron risotto and braised brussel sprouts. She found the salmon "very flavorful but a bit salty" and my redfish was mild with a nice sear and the light touch of the risotto with the shaved brussel sprouts really brought out and complimented the flavor of the fish - it was a win-win-win for my daughter, my wife and I - nice evening out, trendy but refined decor, delicious dinner and an amazing "on the house" apple crumble (it was my daughter's birthday a few days earlier!) I would give it a two thumbs up - must go rating!

When I walked into Prasino I was immediately welcomed with a smile by a very nice hostess. The bar area is very large but we arrived too close to reservation time to indulge. The dining area is very beautifully designed. I tried one of the specialty drinks called the stampede, and it was a citrusy bourbon bubbly libation. I loved it. Since I was craving lobster, we had the wood grilled lobster tail and the lobster avocado. The freshness of the greens with the tail was outstanding and avocado and lobster? HELLO? Throw bacon in there and I would have imploded. The next course was sushi. The waiter recommended the polar bear: crab, albacore tuna and wasabi tobiko. WOW. That crunch of the tobiko just pushed the texture over the top and the flavor was nuts. The entrées were halibut and NY Strip. The halibut had a Mediterranean flare with kalamata, cherry tomatoes, hericot vert. Light and deliciously paired with Spanish albarinio. The strip was the winner winner. Perfect medium rare, red wine butter, grilled bib, cracked black pepper gastrique. The gastrique was crazy good and I ended up eating my husband's grilled lettuce slathered in it. It was our 20th Wedding Anniversary and we had a really great time. I want to explore the sushi, there's magic there. We will be back. Thanks.

I went for lunch this afternoon, I was very impressed with the décor of the place. They had an open and airy patio that was awesome, a wine cellar, and the bar was large and had awesome lighting. As an app, we got the hummus pita, crudités with was tasty. We both had a glass of moscato too which is always good on a Saturday afternoon. Then as an entrée, I had the pesto salmon with a spinach, arugula, basil tomato relish and some salt and pepper chips. The salmon was cooked perfectly! The salad underneath the salmon was a-ok, however I didn't finish it all. My friend got the turkey burger with bleu cheese, caramelized onions, sautéed apples, spinach on a multigrain bun, yum. She had also had a side of truffled potatoes with aioli, chives, and cotija. They were dang good! I can't give them 5 stars because the service was less than desirable. I would give it another chance and hopefully get a different server.

An island-oasis in a sea of chains and sub-par restaurants! Beautiful finish-out and great staff. I come here on business once a year and found this spot on my last day in town. Now, I will just eat every meal at Prasino, since they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Sat at the bar and let Noel (a real Pro) order for me. I had the Lobster Avocado to start off with and it was mind-blowing. Next I had the P.E.I. Mussels and they were way above average. I finished with the Mushroom Flatbread, which was great but I was unable to eat more than a couple of pieces (too full), so I gave it to the kitchen staff. Fantastic atmosphere....great staff.....local ingredients.....small batch brews and spirits. This place is a real winner!

Good is good, drinks are good, however every time I come their service is average or even below. Their happy hour is amazing too, 3-9 Monday-Thursday and 3-7 on Fridays.... It's just too good to pass up so I overlook the service.

We were visiting from out of town and went to Prasino based on the recommendation of a friend. From the service to the food to the ambiance we were highly impressed. We had the margherita flatbread as an appetizer. The portion was generous and we finished all of it despite trying to save our appetites for our meals! Our entrees were the ribeye steak and the vegan pasta. The steak was very tender and flavorful. The wood fired cooking and bleu cheese put it over the top! The pasta was perfectly cooked and blended with fresh vegetables. We had the molten chocolate cake for dessert and it was the perfect size for two to share. The service was excellent- thanks, Greg! The manager also stopped by our table to ensure that our visit was excellent. We had a great experience. In fact, my husband said that it would be worth the three hour drive from home just to go again!

I returned for brunch, I had heard so many great things about the menu! It was my birthday and I was dining alone as I do every year for breakfast! I ordered the hazelnut crapes and the Spanish omelet with a mimosa. It was AMAZING! Ever bite I took was fabulous. Sadly, I could get no where to the end of the plates but it completely made me want to return to try dinner again and most certainly for breakfast.

Mother's Day and I have been waiting for my reservation for 1/2 hour with no seating time in sight. Hostess was surly. Had to ask to see a manager. Had to ask for dinner to be comped. Still waiting to see how it turns out.

Wife and I went there for a dinner. We ordered the fish tacos and the lobster roll. Since this was our first time there we decided to spilt the dishes so we could try both. Lobster roll was top notch. Very fresh taste to it. Would definitely recommend. The fish tacos I would say are great by any stretch but nothing different then authentic Mexican fish tacos. If you haven't had authentic tacos then try them by all means. You won't be disappointed. I didn't not have any wine but the selection was vast. I did try a local beer ( 4 hands). Pretty good selection on beer. In my opinion you can never have enough selections of beer but I also don't run a restaurant. Service was avarage. Nothing to rave about but not disappointed either. Cost of the food for what you get I think it is a bit higher priced then what I would have guessed without knowing the prices. I am going back again. The menu had lots to explore.

Must visit spot, indeed a good spot to take your lady for a date. Great wine/drink and menu selection, plenty to fulfill your appetite needs. The server said the burger would be the best burger I have ever eaten, I took him up on it and order it medium. The burger was in fact excellent, however it was not the best ever in my book it does score a solid 8 out of 10.

Stopped in for my first time with a friend before a concert at Verizon. I am not from the St. Charles area, but saw the reviews on Yelp and decided to go. It was a beautiful, breezy night for June, which made the patio a great place to enjoy happy hour. The cocktails are refreshing - we ordered A Little Heat from Mexico - get it if you love jalepenos!!! - it was spicy, fun, and light. We also ordered the Acai Attraction, which was also light with a mix of cucumber and basil. Both are from the seasonal menu, so they won't be around all year. We went for happy hour and will definitely be back! The pizza and hummus were delicious and not too filling. You can't beat Prasino for the quality and price!

I have had friends rave about Prasino & read many reviews, so I was very excited to try this place. Unfortunately, we probably won't be back:(. My husband and I don't mind spending lots of $$ on an excellent meal, ambiance & drinks---BUT, we are used to having exceptional meals & service. Though our food was fine, I felt that it was very overpriced. Not to mention, the wine (at $8 a glass), seemed like less than a 4oz pour!! I also felt that Prasino tried to do too much with their food to make it unique, without doing any of it very well. Stick to the basics, add a little creativity & then leave it alone! On the bright side, our service was excellent!

Great new place, awesome tap/beer selection. Super neat dining room and atmosphere. They are pretty much a total "Green" Location so they have done some very interesting things right down to the furniture they use. Menu is wide and diverse, they have an extensive and outstanding wine selection. Would definitely go here again, place was packed on a Tuesday night. Have great TV's in the bar area but no sound on not to interrupt the atmosphere but can see any of the big games going on.

This was our second visit to Prasino. We came back because we enjoyed it so much the first time. However, we were a bit disappointed this time. The good: The service was excellent. The lobster avocado appetizer was fantastic. The three dishes we ordered had wonderful, unique flavors. Food presentation was great. Wine list was reasonable and prices weren't out of line. The so-so: High-energy atmosphere, but it's a very noisy place. So if you're going to have a quiet conversation, forget it. The bad: We had the rib eye steak and the halibut. Both dishes were highly over salted. The fish was overcooked and dry, but tasty. The steak was so tough and sinewy that, even with a steak knife, my husband was worn out trying to cut it. They have an additional charge for bread while waiting for the appetizer. When the entrees are $25-$30 each, I expect better. I'd like to give Prasino a higher rating, but problems with both entrees prevented that.

Very lovely decor in this new restaurant in St. Charles, just south of Hwy 70. A quick chat with the waiter revealed that this outpost of Prasino is the first outside of the Chicago area, where there are three. He described the focus of the menu as local---although I'm sure my swordfish did not swim up the Missouri River. Even so, my friend loves the Prasino in La Grange, Illinois, so we decided to have our pre-half marathon dinner here. Great choice. Just as the decor was pleasing to the eye, so was the plating of the food. Our hummus was delicious, with a little zing to it. Caroline chose the fish tacos, which is what she always orders up north. She proclaimed them just as good as those eaten at the other locations. I had the swordfish on soba noodles---pretty good, but not to die for. While I wasn't dissatisfied, I probably would choose something else next time. The waiter was casually personable, with enough knowledge to get our questions answered. We appreciated that the waiter let us linger over our wine at our table, even after we offered to remove ourselves to the bar. I'll probably make the trek out from Kwood to try this place again.

My vegetarian cousin was passing through town for one night and we were looking for a place for dinner with good vegetarian food, because as you know, St. Charles is all about the meat. We went about 7:30 on a Sunday evening, got seated right away. Our waiter was excellent, he recommended drinks and food, showed up when he needed to, and stayed away when he wasn't needed. They had no problem substituting a portobello for the meat on the Prasino burger for us, and their truffled potatoes were excellent. My brother did say his lamb was slightly over cooked for medium, but still tasty.

Super disappointed in this experience. I wanted to love it so much. It was a total fail. Went there for brunch on my mother's birthday. We had reserved the smaller of the two private rooms, as we had about 20 people coming. Upon arrival, no record of our reservation existed. Apparently the banquet manager had left (for the day? for good? no idea) without putting it in the book. Reservation was made weeks in advance and re-confirmed by us days before. They were able to install us in the private room anyway since it was not double-booked, so that was ok, but they clearly were not prepared for us- not just in terms of set up but in terms of wait staff. We had a 'primary' server, but would not see her for lengthy stretches of time. Took ages to get drinks. The biggest issue was that three of our party (including yours truly) are on gluten free diets. We reminded the host and wait staff of this multiple times during our visit, including when we ordered. Of the three of us, two of us were served regular old gluten filled versions of our order. My daughter noticed (prior to eating) that her french toast looked remarkably similar to her (non GF) brother's french toast, so we asked the server, who seemed irritated and said "I trust the chef". I pointed out the similarity in the dishes and explained that it is extremely unusual for gluten free bread to look so similar to gluten bread, and asked her to please CONFIRM with the chef. Meanwhile, my daughter and I shared my (assumed to be) gluten free breakfast. About five minutes later, server returns to inform us that neither of us had been served gluten free due to a 'communication error' between server and chef. Brief apology and ten minutes later we had the correct food. Unfortunately, I had already eaten about half of the non-GF food they had originally served. Within 20 minutes I was throwing up in their bathroom, and my entire day (week, really) was ruined. Apology from manager? Chef? Any response when I told server I was inevitably going to be very ill? NO. Any removal of charges from the bill? No. I did not pay for this meal- my dad did- but if I had not been puking at the time the bill came, I would have brought it up. As it was, I didn't want to ruin my mother's birthday, but COME ON. If you are going to perform a big song and dance about how GF friendly you are, then TAKE IT SERIOUSLY. It is not a fad diet for me or my family. It causes tremendous pain and illness. I will never go there again, and I would not recommend this place to anyone who needs to follow a gluten free diet. Prasino, if you are listening, just take it off your menu, and do the people with Celiac a favor.

Short ribs were tough and stringy. Pork belly sandwich had the texture of jellyfish, served with bagged potato chips. Lamb appetizer and cauliflower casserole side very good though, and service friendly and timely. Will not return.

The place boast a really cool decor, laid back but nice. Nice touches like the hanging lamps and lots of windows in a vibrant setting. The atmosphere is a bit loud, but not overwhelming. Had a strip steak that was a little fatty but very good. The dragon sushi rolls were fantastico. Ask for Schyler. He is extremely friendly, and goes out of his way to provide a top notch experience. He's well versed on the menu and offers great suggestions. Overall, it was a great evening at Prasino.

Can't find anything bad on the menu! St. Louis Pork Steak was like taking the best ribs you've ever had, taking the bones out, putting them in steak form and covering them with an amazing sauce. Absolutely mouthwatering. My wife had the truffled potatoes for her side. Incredible. Lobster Avocado is a can't miss appetizer. It's a bit on the pricey side but still not too bad. Perfect for a date night.

I'd like to be upfront and say that the day I went here, I had just endured a really bad day. You know those ones where you feel like crouching in the fetal position and weeping?....No? My sweet little mom picked Prasino for her birthday dinner and after reading and hearing positive feedback I was totally on board. There were five of us for dinner and we had made a reservation for 6:30. We pulled up and I was so proud of St. Charles. It was so pretty and had tons of parking. The design of this establishment is spectacular. It's really my style. The wine cellar is seriously impressive. It stretches the entire restaurant and that place is big. Like really big. That's actually my issue with this place. The sheer size of the building just gave me that "chain" feeling. I also find it really difficult for kitchens to put out quality food when they're serving that many people. Maybe not, but that's the overall vibe I get from the food. The menu actually is really enticing. It has all those culinary buzzwords that peak the interest of diners. Pork Belly, Pappardelle, Beets. I was starving and super excited about he short ribs and cauliflower gratin I ordered. And to be honest it was not my favorite. It looked great. But tasted like pot roast. The gratin didn't really work either. I just didn't understand some of the portion sizes and combinations of flavors. My mom got a drink that had something to do with pomegrante and didn't like it much. I am really not a liquor connoisseur by any means, but it was kind of yucky. I give it two stars because the decor was just that beautiful. I really want to like this place. It might have been an off night in the kitchen or perhaps my mood seeped through and tainted my experience. Either way, I will go back and try and change my opinion because that patio is calling my name.

I'm not sure if this place is losing it's luster or the staff are just not working out? The food is still good but the service needs improvement. Why? Came here 2 more times... Lunch and dinner. Dinner on a weekend night was nice and waiter was nice but in training and his trainer did say a few things that degraded him in front of us. Lunch was a weekend late day and the waiter gave off a I'm just here attitude.

THIS PLACE IS AWESOME. Definitely a nice surprise in the town that is St. Charles--I love what they're doing in the new building development here. I'm so used to going to Downtown St. Charles and finding dull and boring pub or Italian food, so this place was truly a surprising delight. Our waiter was amazing, super patient with me and my chatty friend. I almost felt bad for him because he kept coming back to our table to ask if we were ready to order, but the combination of our not seeing each other for 3 months and the super interesting menu, we were never ready! After eventually forcibly stopping our conversation to decide on what to eat, I picked the simple "yogurt and berries" option (sue me, I don't like eggs...). When it came to the table, I was shocked by how beautiful the plate was! A HUGE mound of greek yogurt topped with berries and crunchy granola made the perfect breakfast selection. It wasn't super filling (in a good way! I didn't feel like I wanted to die afterwards), and I was really happy with my choice. Will definitely be back to Prasino for the atmosphere, food, and service! 5 stars!

Came here for lunch today with my dad. The restaurant is so spacious and inviting. The whole restaurant is "green" and made from local and recycled materials which is really neat. Our waitress was super friendly, informative, and attentive. The food came quickly and was absolutely delicious! We started with the lobster appetizer and I tried their cauliflower corn chowder. Both were fresh and delicious. My main course was the pork belly scallop tacos. Oh My Goodness. Super good! The sauce that they serve with it is good enough to drink! We will definitely be back!!

I'm visiting the STL area and was pleasantly surprised to stumble upon this gem! The menu has a great variety and excellent options for everyone. So impressed with our experience! Our waitress, Tegan, was fun, and put up with all 726 of our questions! Lots of gluten free and vegan options, and they easily accommodated my dairy allergy. Plus three of the four of us sampled a variety of beers from the tap. The drink menu was just as inspiring as the food menu! Our table of four sampled quite a bit from the menu, and everything was simply fantastic. The brick chicken was probably everyone's favorite! We actually did have one plate that was not great, and the head chef, Tony, made it right. He brought out another steak for my husband, and it was incredible, and in line with the quality of everything else. Very excited to see this type of dining option in St. Charles County, and I can't wait to see where the menu goes as the seasons change!

Had lunch at Prasino's today with 4 girlfriends - it was amazing! Dani was our waitress and she was completely knowledgeable about the menu, options, splitting dishes, etc. She was also a lot of fun and was very nice about letting us sit and talk for hours after lunch was finished. We had 1130 reservations, were immediately seated and drink orders taken. Each of us had something different. There was an option for breakfast (served till 3) or lunch. Between the four of us we had salads, shrimp tacos, salmon, an egg skillet, sweet potato hash and dessert and everything was wonderful! Will definitely come back.

I am holding off on 5 stars until I get a dinner experience at this new Venue located in the Streets of St. Charles. I came here to eat during lunch because I wanted to try something new. The ambiance and interior look great, better for the bar. The back wall is lined with wine bottles, and there is a private banquet room stocked to the brim with wine bottles/selection. The dress attire seems casual to business casual and that goes the same for the servers. Not too dressy, but still a black shirt and jeans. This reminds me of most eateries in Hollywood California, 4-5 star look with the casual laid back style and service. Our server was awesome, well knowledgeable about the menu and gave us the run down of what make Prasinos, Prasinos. All their food is natural and nothing is made from preserve items. Even the drink glasses are made from recyclable items. Very unique and original. I ordered the Pork Belly sandwich for lunch with potatoes. To my surprise their was mango on my sandwich which I had no idea. I am not a big fan of mixing fruit with my meats but I will say it gave my sandwich an interesting, unique bite. I would recommended it to new comers. Overall the experience was great and I am hoping to go back soon for dinner. dp

You cannot go wrong here! You will NOT be disappointed. First visit and very impressed. Service first class, perfect atmosphere and wonderful food. Started with tuna tartar - out of this world. The firecracker sauce brings a nice amount if heat. Next was the lobster avocado. Brilliantly prepared! Very unique flavor profile. Avocado really makes the dish. Kefte was excellent! I'm not a kefta expert so I don't have much to compare it too - but this one was fabulous!!! Very tender meatball. Sauce was nice too. Crab cakes - only disappointment as I prefer the Seattle style cakes with more lump crab meat. These were good - just too much filler for my liking. Cheers!!!!

Been here about ten times now, it's minutes from my house and keeps us coming back. Breakfast: the Austin biscuits and gravy is amazing. So is the eggs Benedict, the stuffed French toast and the regular egg bacon breakfast. I don't recommend the breakfast chilaquines (nachos). The hippie omelet is the shiz. Lunch: order the burger or kale salad if u want healthy. Apps: omg the skewers are like meat magic. So is the lamb sausage! Comes with this killer good mustard sauce. Tacos are amazing too! Dinner: the steak, pork steak, and half chicken will blow your mind. Don't get the charred lettuce, go with brussel sprouts.... Amazingly done. The pork steak is done in a Sous-vide. Wtfomg. Try the green tea to drink, awesome if you're not drinking from the bar. Here's some pointers: - the seating staff is kinda snobby, get a reservation. There's almost always room unless it's Friday/Saturday night. - if the weather is amazing call to sit outside... That area is amazing. - this isn't the best family spot because it's fairly snooty and the staff isn't trained to serve kids well. They have a kids menu that is actually really really good; lamb burger and egg breakfast are winners! I bring my kids anyway but it's better for date night - breakfast served until 3!

The food was very good. However, and a big however. The service was terrible. The restaurant was loud. And again, the service terrible. It took 25 mins before someone came to first take our drinks, the another 20 plus for us to order. Then orders were wrong. Our fist time there, and not sure they get a second chance.

I've been about a half a dozen times. Love hanging at the bar to meet for a little happy hour...Hey D! Also enjoy the dining room. I'm a vegetarian and love the choices. Not the standard bean burger or veggie pasta that I'm usually stuck with! Great decor, GREAT music, delicious food. I'm trying to spread the word to friends because this restaurant deserves success!

Prasino is a breath of fresh air for St. Charles. The menu is innovative and sustainable. It also lacks the typical heavy, oil laden items you'll find at most other local restaurants instead favoring fresh, veggie based sides. We've been twice and both times the service, food and experience were great. As far as menu items, the pork belly blt is unexpectedly delicious and balanced. Though the short ribs come highly recommended (they're also delicious), the blt is an underdog rockstar. While you're there, don't miss out on the mixology! Though everything was tasty, ask for their homemade sangria (not on the menu)- a white sangria with notes of peach- it's the perfect summer cocktail to enjoy on the patio.

Great food! We had the lobster roll, chorizo tacos, flatbread bacon, the ice cream trio and the rootbeer float. Everything was tasty and fresh. The prices were a little high so i gave it 4 instead of 5 stars.

I went here tonight with fellow yelper Kate B. and I was fairly impressed. The location is a little janky and I never would have known there was a restaurant behind that Brazilian place off of 5th street at hwy 70 if it weren't for her! All of the construction on the hwy and on 5th street is kind of obnoxious and would make me not want to go here. The parking is fabulous - a HUGE lot! :) However, the door is a little hard to find, like I wasn't sure if it was the entrance or not? Confusing. Anyways, once inside the decor was nice - a blend of modern, minimalist, and earthy if that makes ANY sense at all. haha. There was a lot of wood on the walls but not like 60s and 70s awkward wood walls or paneling. It was very pretty! The waiter kept filling up my water with the carafe of water on my table - I kind of felt awkward about that - but great customer service. I ordered the short rib tacos and they were amazing. It comes in 4 soft shell corn torillas with the meat some pico and avocado inside all nicely skewered together to hold them upright without spilling anything and cheese on top. It came with a rather spicey in my opinion sauce to dip them in. I like spicey stuff, however, I was not expecting it to be THIS spicey not at a Mexican place and without the option to choose a milder version. But, I enjoyed it myself - just a note to the others though. It doesn't exactly look like much at first but it definitely filled me up for the entire night. I guess if you were a guy or even a girl who needs a lot of food to sustain them then you might want another dish but this was perfect for me. I must have been really hungry as I scarfed this dish straight up so fast you couldn't blink your eyes! Haha, it was also just THAT good! :) Since this was my first time I'm not prepared to give it a 5 star rating just yet. The place is new and a lot can go down still. However, if i were to come back and my service was just as great as tonight and the food just as delish they might get that coveted 5 star rating.

I'm a St. Charles native trying to contain my excitement about this restaurant's arrival. It is a great place!!! I would say that the addition of a restaurant in our area that actually offers high-quality ingredients and organic food in a healthy, full menu makes me very happy alone, but this full package is a real treasure. I've enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner. Late night on a weekday it was good, too. I think the weekends are going to pick up steadily and their patio will be a very popular choice throughout the warmer months. It will be a nightspot and offer an atmosphere that is unparalleled in our area. (So glad we have an alternative to Main St. AND the casino!) Tried the lamb/beef Kefte app- excellent. Salad- awesome. Breakfast food? Well, maybe the best pancakes ever!!! Lamb sirloin- great. Hamburger and cheeseburger and quesadilla for kids- outstanding. Drink options are amazing.... There are many points to make about the quality food and service, all of the options and details here. Let's just leave it at this- (one of the top restaurants from) Chicago has arrived in Saint Charles. What's not to be excited about??!

Awesome appetizers (read shrimp), disappointing entrees. The lobster roll ate the lobster before coming to my table.

We have been here several times and enjoyed the food and experience. However, upon tonight's adventure we found that the bottle of wine prices had increased by $10 and while the short rib tacos remain a favorite the $27 skillet of beans (rock shrimp cassoulet ) was a huge disappointment. Not sure we will choose to come back.

Run, don't walk, to check out this awesome new restaurant. Now we don't have to cross the river for some swanky ambiance, fun cocktails and amazing food. Everything here was top notch - the food (short rib tacos and the St. Louis pork steak were phenomenal), ambiance (amazing upscale bar area with TVs and music), and service (spoke with the manager, owner and chef - all went above and beyond). I will for sure be back...often.

Very neat place! My wife wanted to have a brunch with a group of our friends on her birthday weekend and we decided on Prasino thanks to a friends recommendation. Everything was excellent: Food and drink combinations, ambiance, service, etc. The only reason I'm giving them a 4 instead of a 5 is because our waitress - who was very nice and helpful - dropped a tray and spilled my wife's drink down her back and they didn't even comp a drink. She was more upset about it than me, understandably... but it was her birthday, so I had to agree with her. ;)

We all know Monday's aren't always a breeze, so I'm chalking the pep in my step up to a weekend of great eats and sharing the secret with you Yelpers. My husband, sister-in-law and a friend dined at Prasino on Saturday night. Upon arrival we were greeted by their friendly host-staff. The dining room is absolutely gorgeous--If you're at all interested in upcycling and using reclaimed materials, ask about the interior of the restaurant... it's fascinating. As our starters, the table ordered calamari and lava rock shrimp. The lava shrimp weren't particularly unique (think dynamite shrimp), but the taste was great. The calamari was really interesting though. It was served bruschetta style and man, the flavor was amazing. I would have gladly taken that app all to myself and highly recommend it. For dinner, we ordered the skirt steak, short ribs, St. Louis pork steak, and lamb. All Were fantastic. I personally ordered the short ribs and I could have eaten them with a spoon the meat was so tender. Portions are generous. You won't leave here feeling hungry. For lunch the following day (oh yes, we went twice), our table didn't share dishes, but I ordered the Prasino burger which comes with smoked gouda, tomato jam and arugula and well, let's just say my mouth is watering as I type this... it was stand-out burger in my book. To wrap this review up, I particularly love that they really focus on sourcing local ingredients and offer so many St. Louis specific items.

Ok folks, here's my honest review of the hyped-up Prasino in St. Charles. The service was only okay. A little slow, but not complain worthy and everyone was very pleasant. The spicy lobster, shrimp tempura roll that we had as an appetizer was REALLY good! Justin (not a big sushi guy) even loved it! Now the main entree... Eh. Take it or leave it. I had the lobster roll (New England style sandwich) that missed the mark a bit for me. Tasted more like a warm lobster relish, or salad that was a little heavy on the lemon. Justin had the Stl pork steak, that was good, but not great. All-in-all, it's a great little place, with good ambiance, that's a welcomed addition to St. Chuck, but I feel like they missed the mark a bit food wise. I will definitely be back for $10 sushi Thursdays, and would be willing to try another dinner dish at some point. (Price point: $$-$$$ depending who you ask) :-)

Over-Priced, Average Food and Average Service: We ate here on Valentine's Day for dinner. This was our third visit to this restaurant. Here is the problem: people flock to this restaurant believing this is the only fine dining restaurant option in the St. Charles area. From all appearances it should be. However, it isn't and the food is over-priced and average at best. We were seated in a long row of mini tables that accommodate couples. Our server was not very helpful and the server at the mini table next to us was obnoxious. We ordered margaritas and discovered an $8 upcharge, in addition to the over-priced cost of the beverages. (They claim that Patron is their best tequila, which should not be the best choice for a restaurant that sets itself up as fine dining.) I asked for the manager and he said "we are not trying to be sneaky but this is an additional charge for fresh juices and an additional pour". What nonsense is this? Needless to say, we won't go back.

I ended up going to Prasino for father's day with my Dad (Mike W) and my step mom (Kris W). I know a few of my friends who have gone here and love it so I was looking forward to coming here. The atmosphere of this place is very pleasant. I do not now the proper terms to use for it; but I felt like I should be at a restaurant downtown instead of in Saint Charles. It had a very hip type of feeling to it which I enjoyed. We decided to skip on appetizers and just go straight to the meal. I ended up going with the short rib tacos with a side of truffle potatoes. The tacos were extremely good. I really enjoyed the spicy sauce that came with them and ended up asking for extra! The truffle potatoes were phenomenal. The sauce they came with was extremely good as well. My dad got the Pork Belly BLT. The sandwich was very good and the pork belly was cooked very nicely. He had some vegetable soup on the side which tasted very good as well. Kris ended up getting crab cake eggs benedict. These were very good as well. The only disappointment on her plate was it seemed very small for the price. I really look forward to coming back here and trying the rest of their menu. It was a very enjoyable experience and I fully feel comfortable giving this place a 4/5 star rating for food, interior, and staffing. If the next 2 times are anything like my first experience you will see the review changed to a full 5 stars.

This is a VERY nice place, nice music, nice drinks, and plenty of staff waiting to assist. It puts me in the mind of Bricktops in Frontenac. It has a sliding door that leads from the inside to the outside patio. It is really a nice place. I haven't eaten here, but the drinks were good. From what I can tell, it looks from what I've seen, the palette of food choices are small portions, which I can use if I'm gonna get some weight off my chunky self, LOL. Neverless, I will go back and taste the food. Oh, I did have dessert and it was good! Brownie with pecans and ice cream. Yummy.
